Well made Hardware

Our builder used liberty hardware and it's very beautiful and durable. The hardware is smooth to the touch. It is designed well for use as well as esthetic features. I have brushed nickel and the color is as shown in the photographs.

UPDATE: The Matte Nickel hook is now available and the expensive shipping one is now gone, so I have revised my review. Thanks Liberty Hardware! Revised review: I bought one hook in a "Matte Nickel" color to see how well it would look with the interior design of the house and to see if it would serve as a good hook for keys. I used Amazon Prime, got the hook in a jiffy, set it up, and was very happy with the finished product. The hook looks simple and elegant with the similarly colored kitchen cabinetry hardware -- definitely not cheap-looking or tacky, which was the main thing I wanted to avoid. It was also very simple to set up with just a screwdriver and took no longer than 5 minutes. Although I haven't weight tested it yet, based on the screws and how it's set up, I think you can also use this hook as a coat or bag hanger if you'd like. I'd recommend these hooks if you're looking for simple, elegant hooks that don't cost a fortune. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old review: I bought one hook in a "Matte Nickel" color to see how well it would go with the interior design of the house and to see if it would serve as a good hook for keys. I used Amazon Prime, got the hook in a jiffy, set it up, and was very happy with the finished product. However, when I came back to see if I could purchase more, I've noticed that all other colored hooks were available using Amazon Prime *except* for the Matte Nickel color. The only way I can purchase it now is if I do not use Prime and pay an ugly $5 shipping, about 3-4 times the cost of the hook itself. This move by Liberty Hardware has made apartment upgrades inconvenient, since either I'll have to get more hooks in a different color that won't match the initial hook I bought, begrudgingly pay the exorbitant shipping price of shipping for the extra hooks, or pick a different hook from a different company that also wouldn't match with the first hook. There's also a chance I could find it in a retail store and avoid paying shipping (but would have to pay taxes), though that involves extra time and is also more annoying than just letting me use Prime to purchase it. All in all, once I figure out what to do about the extra hooks, I'll avoid purchasing from Liberty Hardware in the future and try another hardware source.

Sturdy coat hook - replaced a broken identical hook

Exactly as described to replace a broken identical hook. Please obey the weight limit and don’t put heavy book bag/backpack on these hooks! Replacement is perfect

Clamps and hooks cannot be locked in place. Will require both hands to store items.

Honestly, I'm slightly disappointed by this product. I read many reviews and expected this product to serve two purposes: 1) keep my cleaning tools off the floor and 2) allow me to easily and quickly to hang them up or grab them when necessary. It does keep my tools off the floor. But can I hang my tools quickly or grab them easily? No. So the item consists of alternating hooks and clamps. The clamps allow it to pinch broomsticks of varying sizes in place and the hooks are for items that wouldn't fit the clamps. Great idea. They also slide back and forth, allowing you to adjust the spacing between tools. Great idea. Yet, neither the clamps or the hooks can be locked in place and this is where I'm disappointed. The clamps are very strong. This mean I need to use both hands in order to clamp my broomstick or pull it off without yanking the entire thing off the wall. I wish that the reviews I read before purchasing had disclosed this. Hope this helps someone else.

Easy wall hook

These are a great space saver in a tiny studio apartment. I put three of them on a wall by the door where I could hang my coat and purse when I came home. It looked nice and helped prevent the cluttering up that can easily happen in a small space when you come home and drop your stuff anywhere. Note: If you are putting these in dry wall, be sure to use dry wall anchors.

Cheap screws

Hooks are fine, 2 out of 2 screws sheered off right at the head. Left me with a screw in the wood with no head. After the first one sheered, I pre-drilled the other. Got a little deeper into the wood, but same thing. Also, my clutch on the drill was set to half-power. Cheap, cheap, cheap. I had to use 1 inch silver screws from my stock pile which looked like crap next to the brushed nickle finish on the hooks.

Good cheap hook

Bought a bunch of these to replace some old ones. They look better and are more sturdier. I had a little difficulty screwing them in with a cordless screwdriver because the screws are pretty long but after I was done I could pull hard on them without feeling any give. Thats great when your paying less then $2 a hook. I was checking out prices at Target and Home Depot and they wanted $4-5 a hook. They are a steal at this price!
