Over the door hook won’t fit in some doors
Yamazaki products are excellent. I bought this because I don’t want to drill holes in the door. The over the door hook did not fit in my apartment’s closet door. To be able to use it, I have to drill holes. Aesthetically, it is very simplistic. If not in use, it folds. Not giving 5 stars because of the hook size but overall it worked for me.

The perfect home accessory
My fiancé loves Yamazaki and this hanger is one of her favorite items. It hangs on our laundry room door and is very sturdy.

So much better than the plastic over the door hooks
These are so much more durable than the plastic models. I first tried one of these because I was tired of replacing the plastic ones that had broke and dumped all the clothing on the floor. They are easy to install and I have them on folding closet doors and two bedroom doors. Ours are in constant use but they also can fold up when not needed.

Added functionality to a small laundry room.
My laundry room only has room for the washer and dryer, so I added a couple of these to my door frame so that I could hang up my shirts immediately after drying. The over-the-door hook comes off, so you can screw them to any flat surface, if you want. It has a magnetic closure so it will not open unexpectedly. When it is closed, it is unobtrusive. It is really well made. Expensive, but worth it.

Much Better than Plastic Brands
Simple and sturdy, as it should be. Folds away when not in use, and practical for door-drying 6-7 dress shirts.

Useful for steaming clothes
I use this when I have to steam my clothes. I downsized to a small condo and did not want to store a huge ironing board and iron. I put this hook on my bathroom door and steam away. I'm also using it temporarily to hang up just a few clothes until I can fully unpack when my closet system is installed. Of course I was worried about damaging the doors in my brand new condo, but with this you don't have to worry. There are rubber grips and it's made of high quality materials. When I don't need it, it folds up nicely so I can store it away. Compact, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Great
These are extremely sturdy and worth the cost for that. I don’t like things hanging over the door, but needed something for guests’ coat. I purchased white ones so they blend in with doors. I turn them around when not in use or simply take them off of the door. I don’t need nor have room for a coat rack in my apartment foyer, these are perfect. They fit snuggling on the door and have pads inside so the don’t the door. I recommend them. Have a nice day!

Sturdy and makes putting outfits together so easy
This is very sturdy as an over door hanger. I can easily swap out clothing for a together look. Better than throwing clothes all over the bed and still not getting the overall look and lengths together. A real time saver.

compact light drying rack for my RV
I bought this to put in my RV, but it will work just as well at home. It is very light at 220 grams but VERY strong. The 6" retractable arm flips out easily and has 6 hanger notches. There is a magnet to hold the arm in place when folded. Rubber padding all inside the U hook that goes on the door, Excellent fit & finish. I noticed that the door hanger bracket can be removed in case you decided to wall mount it. It was not "cheap" to buy but I think well worth the price considering the quality and strength. Highly recommended.

I love it!!!
It's just what I needed; a solution to hang up multiple garments in a narrow space. Other door hooks line up the hooks side-by-side along the door's width. If your doorway is narrow or you just find that setup impractical, then this is a logical solution; lining up the garments front-to-back. The build quality is excellent, even for the price. There are no rough edges, the coating is even and smooth and there's padding inside the over-the-door hook. The fold-out part hinges easily and stays shut when you need it shut. No creaking. My doors are white so it blends in perfectly with them. If you hang it over a slimmer door, I recommend applying extra padding behind the bracket. I use felt padding intended to stick underneath furniture legs. I'm very satisfied and can't find any negatives with this product. PS: I'm not a bot nor paid for this review. It's that good.

Space Saving and high quality Japanese product
Love this product. We use this when we have guests since our space in the condo is very limited. We also use it to dry clothes with hanger. When we don’t use, nicely fold and not so visible. Sturdy and high quality product for this price. Yamasaki is Japanese product, and we love this space saving coat hanger on the door.

Excellent Hanger
Strong and sturdy hanger that's made of metal, not plastic. The felt cushions at the back of the hook help give it a tight fit on my closet door. I was able to easily hang several jackets on it incuding some of my heavier ones. Worth the price. Awesome Japanese product.
