Doesn't disappoint! Buy it!

I live in a new apartment and I use this filter on auto all day/ all night, it turns on different fan speeds depending on air quality in the apartment and it is great!, this is after 9 months and it is the best 0.3 micron filter I've owned. If you're on the fence about getting it, get it to move air and clean it. It is a little pricey but its worth it down the line.

You Get What You Pay For

Yes, these filters are pricey, but you have to pay for quality!! We have an indoor long haired cat and our hepa works very well!! You don’t realize how well it works until you change filters. Ours runs continuously, lasts 3-4 months.

This is a great air purifier and the replacement filter is great. It's easy to replace.

This is a great air purifier and the replacement filter is great. It's easy to replace. The issue I have is that the filter product box is what ships. The box gets beat up, dented or gets a hole in transit and sometimes is partially open. It needs to be put into a shipping box so the filter is kept clean and not dented. The purpose of a new filter is its clean and in great new unused shape. Please put it the filter box into a shipping box.

Costly

Love having air purifiers but sometimes you can’t afford to keep new filters in them, I think they need to make them WASHABLE, I’d pay a little more for washable ones that last longer than having to replace them at these prices

Love this air filter

Installing the product is really easy, and on the automatic setting, I find one filter lasts me about 1 year. I know you're suppose to change it a bit more frequent than that, but I found the filter just lasted that long :) Really makes a difference in my home with two cats! Friends with allergies will come over, and they say their allergies aren't as bad compared to other homes with cats they've visited.

Filter changed now see through.

First filter was layered and couldn't see light. The second filter purchased seems to have a missing layer in the filter. It shows large spots of light held up in light. I don't feel confident in will filter large particles like the previous one. This is the only filter that will work for filter and price has increased considerably. I also have been vacuuming once a week to prolong filter. I will see if it holds up as well as the first one and it is worth it to keep machine for the price of filters. Machine also never really resets push button for three seconds and red light disappears but if you repeat 3 seconds with new filter red light pops back on ????

Follow Levoit's instructions - and these will last the full six months

As at the proud owner of the Levoit LV-H133, it's a great air purifier that I keep on the first floor of my house. These are the official, geniune Levoit LV-H133 replacement filters. As I mentioned in the headline, follow Levoit's instructions and these will last nearly the full six months as they promise. Every few weeks - unplug the purifier, take the filter out, wipe down the filter, wipe down the inside of the purifier, pop the filter back in, and you're back in business. Living in Las Vegas, this purifier has been a godsend. I've seen these filters go the distance - and I've seen when they won't (such as post-house remodeling where I replaced my entire first floor with ceramic tile). I have these on my Amazon Subscribe and Save set for every five months and I can't be happier.

UPDATE for CAUTION WARY SHOPPERS: I bought the Levoit LV-H133 replacement from Amazon six months ago. It was shipped from Levoit for a $10.00 shipping fee. This time, on Nov 2, 2023, I bought the same filter from Amazon, but it was sold by Amazon and shipped for free (as part of Amazon's Prime "free shipping" perk). I was able to compare the 6-month-old filter with the new one. I felt compelled to compare them because I instantly noticed a difference in weight between the two. The accumulated dust on the old filter did not account for how much more it weighed than the new one weighed. Looking through the filter against a bright light, I could see that the new filer had noticeably less "activated carbon" (nuggets of charcoal) between its paper layers. The charcoal in the filter absorbs smelly gases and chemicals. [Charcoal is placed in aquarium filters because it absorbs and traps ammonia gas and other gases in the water. Charcoal acts like a sponge, one might say. Less charcoal reduces the filter's longevity in its ability to eliminate odor. Instead of the recommended six- to eight-month replacement period, the filter will need to be replaced more frequently if keeping the treated room smelling fresh and clean is the aim. These garbage replacement filters come in cartons that have the name LEVOIT emblazened on the side. Maybe Levoit has contracted out the manufacture of their filters due to high demand, but their contractor is making a subpar, inferior replacement. The Levoit filter was $49.99 just two years ago. Now it's $62.99. For what? While the old filter that was shipped to my home directly from Levoit and this "I don't know who actually manufactured the filter that was shipped from a nearby Amz warehouse, they appeared identical. The new one was less sturdy as the legitimate Levoit filter and had a flimsy feel to it. And, as I said, it had less charcoal in it and was substantially less heavy than the Levoit-made filter. I used the machine that this filter is designed for. I use it strictly in the bedroom. At night, I sleep with the door closed. But during the day, the bedroom door is open. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I could detect the faint fragrance of carbonated charcoal as oxygenated air flowed through the filter. The smell is just a chemical reaction between the coal and the oxygen in the air. The O2 primes the charcoal to use its carbon to remove odors by absorbing them. The coal acts like a sponge that soaks up odors. When the coal is too full of the stuff it absorbs, you need new carbon. (You can "recharge" coal by soaking it in boiling water, but you can't soak the Levoit charcoal filter!).
