nice quality, who knew there are 5,000 different ways to make a "tank trip lever"?
nice quality, who knew there are 5,000 different ways to make a "tank trip lever"? nothing is simple anymore, just a tip, you don't only need to match your "tank trip lever" handle (really "tank trip level" not "toilet flush lever" : ) ) you also need to match the inside arm (sorry, "lever"), there are apparently many different angles and internal contours required to make a toilet flush, who knew? anyway, be sure you ck the inside lever angle etc. not just the handle before you buy. I just "assumed" (my bad, I know) that since I finally found the matching handle that surely the rest would match my toilet, nope (yes I've done enough projects that it didn't even surprise me when I opened the tank for my "5 minute" project that the existing lever (with identical Kohler handle) was completely different : )) so the GOOD NEWS is that the lever is plastic (it would have been better news I guess if it was metal, then I could have just bent it to shape) anyway, since it was plastic I was able to just grab my torch and slowly heat it up enough to bend it to the shape I needed and all was well. Maybe they make one with the matching handle and matching lever just thought I'd pass my experience on so you would know to check.

Fantastic for the money, & works great!
Can't believe it but all I did was a normal flush, & the plastic arm of the original Kohler side mounted lever broke off . I went to 2 hardware stores with no luck, then called the Kohler distributor in my area. Forget that in polished brass it's $69.00, Kohler is shut down until mid January. What to do, what I should have done in the first place, look at Amazon. Here it is, better flush than the original with a fantastic price. There have been a few questions of fit in the reviews, & maybe I can help out. The Kohler that this went into is about 15 years old, with an elongated bowl, the fit for this one was perfect. Before I installed it I looked at the other 2 Kohler's, that are 2 years old, these are high efficiency with elongated bowls. This handle will not begin to work on the newer design. The curve of the plastic rod is in the wrong place, it curves to the rear once it's installed. On the newer models you need one that curves to the front.

Wrong legth for my Kohler
Good quality material and overall fits correctly my kohler. Problem is with length of the arm - way too long - double length of the Kohler original - had to eventually cut it and drill new hole at right location. Now it works perfectly.

Easy Enough for an Old Lady to Install
This was easy to use. I am a 70 year old woman who has never done an iota of plumbing in my life. This part looked like my broken trip lever so I bought it off Amazon for my Dec 1986 Kohler toilet, an “endangered species” due to its effective water flushing. Keeping this toilet till I die. Took me three minutes to remove the broken trip lever and install this new trip lever. Needless to say, it works great and I am storing another one for posterity. Take that, Greenies.

Just Like Kohler
As far as I can tell, this looks just like Kohler product, I compared the finish, weight etc to the broken one I replaced on our toilet. I wish they would make the rod out of metal, they would last many years. Some online stores are selling just this little handle for almost $40! The chrome version of this is readily availble in a Box store for $10 (I thought of just trying to replace the handle, but the metal prong of the handle is peened over the plastic; maybe drilling it out and tapping a screw would work but it is white metal and likely to crack; the polished brass is not carried anywhere I could find and price goes way up. Could not even find in my local plumbing supply house..had to order...Will buy again, as I have two toilets in house using this part.

Looks identical to the original, including the cheap plastic
Looks identical to the one it replaced. When the original broke, I tried replacing it with a nice metal tank lever since I now know that a plastic lever will eventually crack. Well, I couldn't find one that worked so I reluctantly bought this cheap plastic one. It works fine and looks good. I just don't have a lot of faith that it will last. After all, this looks just like the one I had and it broke! We'll see.

High quality Brass Finish Requiring a Bit of "creativity" to install.
Excellent quality but not an exact match for the chrome it replaced. The installation required some "creativity." I manually, carefully bent the plastic arm for smooth operation. Total installation time was under 10 minutes. The delivery time was excellent and the quality of the brass finish is exceptional. The price is a bit on the high side, however this is the only source for polished brass. Local hardware stores do not carry this or a similar item.

Item fit perfect, but quality of handle is not as good as OEM part
This item fit perfectly in place of the original Kohler part. But the quality of the brass handle is not as good as the original Kohler part. It is of course less expensive.

The plastic arm of this lever is not made of ...
The plastic arm of this lever is not made of a very strong plastic it does look very weak. However that being said it does work. How long it will last is another issue all together.
