Needs a good grip!

I use this all the time. It is best used when you have a completely clean griper (on the bottom of the cutter) and a little moisture on the counter top. I still have to cut the potatoes into quarters though, because a whole potato broke the bottom blade on one of the attachments. Other than that, I love it.

Doesn't stick to the counter well

It works ok, but you have to keep reattaching it to the counter pretty much everytime you are halfway through a slice. Wish the suction was better then I'd use it more often. Still easier than attempting to hand cut french fries.

Needs Improvement

When I Got this I instantly noticed it required more force to operate then i felt it should have and after only 2 uses became bent out of shape. I was able to get a replacement at no cost from the manufacterer but to me i am still afraid the new one will do the same as i am practically haveing to put my full weigt on it plus when it cuts the potato it shots out at least a foot or 2.

Easy of use and durability

I bought one of these at Bass Pro several years ago and it works flawlessly. My niece was looking for a fry cutter so I bought this same model for her. She's had it for few weeks now and it's worked just as well. The suction cup is a plus. Very helpful on keeping it in place while cutting. Large potatoes or any that are very hard I'd recommend cutting in half first, just to make it easier running thru. After all this is for home use, not a hamburger joint. Cleanup is a snap.

Arrived with plastic handle not attached

Arrived with plastic grip handle not attached … returned it Purchased as a replacement for the same model that I have had for over 10 years and still works but one of the blades is busted ..may consider repurchase

Cheap made. Broke while using it and will not stick to surface. I do not recommend this product

Better than the rest...

Works as described and way better than a lot if the other competitors. Recommend this version.

Not for me

I found this product very flimsy and did not meet my needs. I returned it and bought a different style; one that you push down instead of the handle type. I’m much happier with the push down fry maker
