Amazing product!!!
Went on a cruise where you can only take a bottle of wine. We drank the wine and refilled the bottles with tequila. This re-sealed the bottles for me, no problem. A little heat from a hair dryer was all that was needed. Must use twist top wine bottles, no corks. Will purchase again and 100% recommend ????????

Cruise travelers essential add on
Calling all cruise ship smugglers. As you may or may not know, most (if not all) cruise lines do not allow you take your own alcohol on board. A lot, however, now allow one bottle of wine per adult passenger for your own consumption in your cabin. You can take this wine aboard in your carry on, with far less risk than using rum runner bags, or shampoo smugglers in your checked luggage, and will have much less likelyhood of being called down to have your luggage inspected if the scanner picks up liquid filled containers on the scanner. If you cannot, or don't want to risk putting a wine bottle in your checked luggage and have time before you board go and purchase a cheap screw top bottle of wine (red or dark bottle obviously work best). Either drink, or discard the contents, fill with your favorite booze, replace the screw cap and then slip one of these PVC shrink caps over the bottle. Blast with a hairdryer for a minute or two and voila, a sealed bottle of wine unlikely to arouse any suspicion as you board. If unfortunately you are going straight from the airport to the ship without a chance to visit a liquor store, or be anywhere near a hairdryer, all is not lost. Prepare the bottle at home and then purchaseThe Bottle Bubble Protector for Two Bottles by True . This will keep your bottles safe in your checked luggage, until you remove them into your carry on before you board. There are enough caps here for 30 bottles of wine for just over $5, so even if you have to buy travel bags, the money savings are huge.

They are okay????
They look fake in person also do not shrink well to the wine bottles I had. I’m giving it a four star because it got the job done, but I would honestly do your homework and look at the other possibilities of wine wraps out there.

Worked like a charm
Like many other reviewers, I bought these to sneak booze on to a cruise ship. It's nice that you have 30 chances, so you don't have to worry about screwing one or two up. For my first attempt, I tried using a hair dryer to shrink on at first which didn't really work. They are super easy to seal using boiling water though. Just get a small pot and fill with about 4 inches of water. Get the water up to a boil, and lower the bottle into the water. They seal fast, maybe just 2-3 seconds under water total. A few recommendations if you are doing this. First, make sure that the top matches your label. The tops are a shiny black, with gold accents. It's going to look good on a bottle with a similar top, or at least a bottle with a similar color scheme. Second, some people have suggested using screw top bottles. I was worried it would look bulky and obviously resealed so I used the original corks. I just emptied the wine bottles, refilled them with booze, pushed the corks back in as far as I could and used a sharp knife to cut the rest of the cork off. It sealed perfectly, and looked awesome. Security didn't bat an eye.

"customs can even check it if they want to"
They worked for my needs. However it was a good bit of work to get it right. My needs required these to replace the originals and to look as seamless and factory installed as possible. First off I admit that I did not have a heat gun to try on these, which would have been my first attempt. I did however try a hair dryer which would only partially shrink them (not hot enough) and no matter how much I moved around it shrank them unevenly and would not seal correctly. I next moved onto dipping them in boiling water. This worked however after much trial and error and ruining at least 10 of them, they were sealing unevenly (shorter on one side, of uncentered). I eventually found that if you tip the bottle straight up and down and place it in an empty pot, then slowly pour boiling water into the pot it would USUALLY seal correctly, maybe leaving a small unsealed area around the bottom (bottom of label with bottle standing upright), this I solved by cutting the label short with a razor blade. In short, If your not trying to hide the fact that it has been resealed they would work great, if you are hiding it then expect a little work and trial and effort to get it just right, I purchased 30 of these to seal 2 bottles and went through at least 15-20 before I was happy with both of them. but at the end of the day they worked, to quote Jurassic Park "customs can even check it if they want to"
