Everyone should have one of these!
I bought this since I work on computers and the eyes arent quite what they used to be. I think I could see into outer space this thing is so powerful. Best headlamp Ive ever found. I was buying those cheap five dollar ones you find in stores and they'd last maybe a year before the power button would give out or you'd replace the batteries and for some reason could never get them working again. I should have just saved all the five dollars Ive spent and bought one of these. I havent really used the night vision mode but its interesting just going around the house in the dark with it on. You're able to pick out furniture and objects easily. Good for the next power outage. Actually everyone should have one of these things in their kitchen drawer just in case of the power going down. When you're trying to navigate cellar stairs in pitch blackness looking for the fuse box holding a mini flashlight, you'd be much safer having this light on your head freeing your hands and illuminating not just your path but lighting up everything ahead of you and to the side of you for a good distance. Use the headlamp one time and it pays for itself. I dont know how good it is on batteries since I havent run mine down enough to see any deterioration in the light intensity but Im assuming with it being LED that battery life should be decent. Actually installing the batteries was the hardest part of this. Instructions werent clear and you had to basically pry the headlamp back a good way to access the battery compartment. It clicks loudly and it made me think at first I had broken it but that is the only way to get the batteries installed. If there was one thing I could change with this product, that would be it.

Great headlamp, not as smooth as older Energizer models
I have owned other headlamps (including a cheap off-brand given to me as a gift) and Energizer ones are the best. They are the brightest, most durable, and stand up to quite a bit of abuse. Both Energizer ones I had owned previously were purchased at least 10 years ago. They both lasted until they got lost - neither one ever broke, nor did the bulbs burn out. I really like the night vision (red) on this model. I have used it while stargazing so I don't lose my night eyes while consulting a diagram or map. I've also used it while doing aquarium maintenance at night, so as not to startle the fishies. A feature new to me is that on this you can customize the brightness of the light. It's easy to do. As soon as you have it on the setting you want, click it again and it automatically starts to get brighter or dimmer. Just press the button a final time to stop it at the desired brightness. That the head strap can be removed and washed is one more reason why Energizer headlamps are better than the others I've owned. This is a newer feature as my old Energizer has the strap firmly attached to the sides of the lamp. See pic. My only complaint about this model is that aiming it in the up-and-down plane used to be much smoother. On my older Energizers, you used to be able to rotate it to any angle you liked (between the min and max allowed) and it would stay. Now it clicks between a few predetermined angles. And each adjustment from click to click is very hard, meaning it requires more force than it used to take, and makes a loud CLACK sound each time. That is a minor problem to me. Given all the other advantages, I will continue to be an Energizer headlamp devotee.

Bow down to the magic of the Lavaliere Lamp!
I've only had this for a few days, but I'm finding it very useful. The idea is to wear this hands-free "flashlight" on your head so that you can do work in dim light that takes two hands. And I'm sure it does this very well. I bought it for that purpose. However, I have discovered a hack that is much more generally useful for me. No, not lava lamp. ;) I had the lamp on my head and was taking a break. It was kind of annoying having that band around my head, although it is soft and adjustable and reasonably comfortably. So I pulled it down to hang around my neck until I was ready to use it again. It was dusk. I live out in the country where there are no street lights. That hour of day, it's sometimes necessary to have a light when walking outside to avoid tripping or falling. Sooo, I decided to see how the light worked while hanging around my neck. Perfect! Plenty of light on the ground and for several feet in front of me. I was going out to get the mail, and wouldn't have had a free hand for the walk back to the house. For me, this lavaliere light was just what I needed. ;) It has three settings -- red (infrared?), flood which a combination of the center light and two smaller side lights, and the center light alone. I'm going to buy several of these to hang by each door and in the garage so I won't even have to remember to take one with me -- they'll be right there waiting for me. Now if these will last as long as advertised, they will be pretty much a perfect purchase.

Excellent headlamp for basic use
The white LEDs are bright enough to see around camp in the evenings but the beam is more focused, than spread. There are 2 Red LEDs are an excellent and a very important addition as well. It's easy to set up and use. There is just one power button which cycles through Red, 2 White, 1 Big White, 2 Small White and off. Long pressing the button will dim the LEDs to moonlight and back. The only fault I see in the headlamp is that the tilting mechanism is very hard. It goes back up smooth, but tilting it down while wearing the headlamp is almost impossible. This could be a potential point of failure after long use. Other than that I am very happy with the product.

Really good on built quality, comfort and funtionality
Really good product. Built Quality is really durable (we use it for factory use and no problem in 2 months of extensive use. Comfort on the head is good because the product does not weight too much Functionality includes swivel so that you may point it up and down, band is adjustable. ONLY PROBLEM the band gets dirty very fast and i have not been found a replacement band anywhere for it. Maybe someone can help for that.

Super bright head strap torch
This is indeed an amazing light piece of gadget, very tiny, but packs an incredible performance in the illumination department. I watched the review on YouTube before purchasing the product. It has 4 modes at clicks on the main switch. Moreover, the central LED is large and extremely powerful with long distance focused illumination (200 lumens). In a mode, long press can either dim the configuration or brighten it. All this works with just 3 AAA Alkaline batteries. Only take care while prying open the head strap holder while changing the batteries as it opens with much difficulty as the click locking hinge mechanism is very hard and could break. Must own torch for those who venture out in the darkness of night for any reason as it frees the hands for carrying stuff.
