Great Laminator!
I have to say, I was somewhat concerned by the one star/no star reviews, most of which dealt with the laminator not working. I purchased it nonetheless, and I am GLAD that I did! Worked right out of the box, everything very simple to understand and operate. My first project was to laminate recipe cards for my wife. I put the recipes on 8 X 5 inch cards, and placed them 2 per laminate page (Fellowes Thermal Laminating Pouches, 5 mil thickness, and they work fine, with plenty of margin to completely seal the cards. I did 59 pouches in a row (total of about 110 pouches done for the project) without a hitch (well, one hitch - I wasn't paying enough attention to the feed and it sent the pouch through at a slight angle, enough to run into the side and cause a bubble. Good news though: I immediately ran it through again (properly) and it ironed the bubbles out; that was the only hiccup in the operation, and that was MY fault, not the machines. All in all, this is a splendid machine for home/light duty use. I used a Fellowes Neutron Plus Rotary Paper Trimmer to trim off the pouch excess, leaving about 1/4 - 5/16ths inch pouch edge beyond the card. The machine is very quiet, and I only have two niggles about it: 1) I would prefer to have the feeding guides a little higher; it's too easy to "go off the rails", although unless it's REALLY off, as in my error, it still works and feeds fine. That said, I recommend paying attention to straightening the pouch BEFORE the rollers catch it to prevent an angle feed. 2) I would have liked a slide out pouch support on the end of the feeder ramp - the Fellowes pouches have a good tacky surface that keeps everything in place, but I would have more piece of mind to have the unsealed end supported a bit more. Other than that, I am pleased with the purchase and functionality of this machine!

Quiet, works well

Why did I wait so long?!
I have been laminating everything! I am a teacher, and I have been using my laminator to make materials for next school year and games for my kindergarten students. It is fast and so easy to use.

Works as expected for paper foiling. I use the highest setting and let it warm up for 20 minutes or so.

I purchased mainly to preserve my kids artwork. This machine is absolutely the easiest thing to use. Every piece turned out perfectly! I highly recommend, especially at the price! So fun to use! Sidenote: I purchased the amazon basics letter size pouches and they work great with this

Don’t waste your money on this
I bought this to use for school for laminating things for my students to use. When I went to use it for the first time, just before school started, (a few days past the return date) I laminated 2 sheets before the 3rd one got jammed in the machine. But it’s a Never Jam technology machine! What a joke. Can’t return it so it’s going into the garbage now and buying a cheaper brand name one that I can rely on.

Glaring manufacturer defect prevented use
The media could not be loaded. CAUTION.. 1. there was no indication of "no returns" until I attempted to do just that. I called Amazon directly and managed to get it refunded fully. Why? 2. This unit had a glaring defect out of the box that prevented its use. The feeder support tray (the coloured green plastic tray that extends out to support your laminating sheet going in) was installed UPSIDE DOWN. As a result, the little lip (thumb grab) on the upper edge of the feeder tray would interfere and prevent anything from being fed in. I didn't even bother plugging it in as I could see it would not operate safely. 3. Visually, there are clearly different sub-models out there, as mine had a chartreuse green instead of blue plastic trim as shown in the product pictures. This is just cosmetic. I purchased a different brand.

Should read others reviews before buy this garbage!
I read the nagetive reviews before buy this one. I regret that I didn't trust others. The bix came as broken, you say this is new? There is dirt still not cleaned in the buttom. The box is not sealed. The colour is green not blue in the discribtion picture. That's ok, I decide to keep it if it works fine, even I can tell for sure it's a used one. Then after first try, I want through it right out in the garbage bin. Then I think my wife may operated it wrong. I read the instructions myself carefully, and it jams again. For who is going to buy this piece of junk, hope my story helps.

This item did not work at all
This product did not ever heat up. I tried multiple plugs and it only ever gave the green on button. And the ready button never lit up. I had bought it and then didn’t need it until today and now I can return it I’m so frustrated.

Broke after 30 single laminate uses
No idea what happened. I make single laminate items, and after approximately 30 uses, it died in the middle of a laminate job! Won’t power on at all. I spent more money on this laminator, as I thought it would be a quality item. It just screwed my business shipping time.
