Sweet relief

I don’t write reviews, like, ever…. But I had to take the time on this one. I can’t yet speak to durability since I’ve only had it on a few hours, but as soon as I applied it (very carefully with the included instructions), I felt relief! I’m only guessing I’ve got a torn meniscus. I haven’t been to the doctor, but I can walk comfortably without wincing from the pain on the outside of my left knee. Bending a little easier too. Hoping this will help with walking a little more normal and with exercise.

Wow - I am So Impressed!!

After having a very bad fall snowboarding, did all medical knee testing knew I didn’t test anything. Looked on Amazon , of course , Amazon has everything and can ship it to you anywhere. Found this tape - order it was to me the next day!! I have used a lot of tapes in the past so I know Kinesis tape!! I used it to ride my bicycle , it stays on with showering. Can even place knee warmers over the tape without coming off ! Supportive without bulk! I have suggested these tape strips to many of my athletes already !! Now being my injurty is lateral knee I did purchase the bundle , and adding strips !! Hope this is helpful! I am just so happy I found these tape strips and want all athletes to have the same happy results. I snowboarded , snow shoe, took walks , cycling now for two weeks with these Strips. Happy happy !!! Oh lastly ; they stay on with indoor cycling , even with legs sweaty !!

Doesn’t Hold Up

I relied heavily on reviews when I purchased this KT tape with knee support. It seemed like people were roughly 60-40 supportive. I bought it. Instructions for application were very detailed and helpful. On my first run (recovering from knee strain injury), the inside, non-reinforced tape came off as soon as I started really sweating. I only did a 3 mile run and it came off at about 1.3 miles. It was flapping and I had to tear off the rest of it to continue my run. By the end of the run, the reinforced side (outside) had also started to peel at the edges. I would probably recommend this tape for extra support walking around but not for use during strenuous exercise where perspiration is involved.

I prefer the regular KT tape to this

I’ve been using KT tape for a while now on my knee, I’d been considering trying this knee one for a bit and finally did it. I wasn’t as impressed as I expected. Whether it was because I set my expectations to high or it just wasn’t really great, I’m not sure. I’ll just stick to the tape that’s been working for me

Stronger support for knees

I use the reinforced KT tape on my knees for support during endurance riding with my horse.

Good in theory, but..

The idea is a good one, but the plastic breaks easily and ends up not being as supportive as it could be. Product could be improved if there was one plactic rib with a metal core (to add flexibility and strength), with strips you can add the rib too like a refill (reduce waste).

No knee pain

Definitely gave support and was not bulky.

Used for skiing. Was concerned that a twinge in the side and back of my knee felt that I might twist. The tape definitely gave me support and therefore confidence.

Terrible

Never buy it again, I used to purchase the same from sports shops, though may be easier too get from amazon, but unfortunately got a poor quality that stick to the skin and difficult to be removed, adhesive marks on the skin spit all ways to remove it.
