Works but not exactly

I'm not sure why it doesn't diffuse the pulling between the two of my dogs as well as my old one. But it does connect two dogs to one leash.

Use this for tandem or single.

This works great for tandem, just enough between 2 dogs to keep them untangled but give them mobility. The bungie is a very nice feature, takes some of the pull out of the leash and makes it more comfortable for the dogs. I have also used this as a single on a Holter with 2 connections. I works great, takes all the leash pull and absorbs into the bungie. Makes it so much more enjoyable than just a leash. If you are looking for something to take the jerk out of the leash, this is it.

Works Very Well!!!

We have adopted 2 Aussie/German Shepard pup (Mar 2022); now there are 50+ and a friggen handful. But we do love them very much; brother and sister. Early on tried walking them separately and aside from the full puppy mode it was a lot of effort! Now with chest harness and this Double D Dog Coupler; walks are much more enjoyable. And they behave very well; there is the customary stop and data log smell exercise. But they do very very well and the process gets better with every walk. I need to keep the slack up on the leash but when we are on a open stretch of path with no poles or tress....its great! Far better than vinyl coated stainless steel cable types.

This Is Amazing!

I have two awesomeness standard poodles and we walk everyday. Sometimes they are on separate leashes, sometimes on a true double leash and most recently on this amazing “coupler”. This thing is sturdy and gives the dogs individual freedom without the ability to tangle me in the leash! It hooks onto any standard leash and totally handles my 110# pounds of poodles! This is a great buy for multiple dogs!

Broke the first week of use

Made my walks SO much easier

When I ordered I was a little worried about the difference in one dog being on a pinch collar and having the smaller one on a harness. I didn’t know if the lengths would work. But I knew I needed something different bc I couldn’t keep juggling two leashes if something happened on the walk, one would probably pull out of my hand since they together are stronger than me. Today it happened someone’s dog got loose. I was able to reach down and grab the coupler and have full control with a free hand. The bungee cord allows for each dog to get a little more freedom with their different restraints on. I love this thing.

Elastic breaks quickly

Love the concept of the dual leach with elastic/retraction but the elastic breaks fast with dogs that pull. The dual leash is still USA le without the elasticity it just is longer and there is less shock absorption when on dog pulls the other.

It was great while it lasted...

I purchased the large version of this leash splitter for my two dogs. Both are mixed breeds, one is border collie/husky, the other shepherd/lab. The splitter was fantastic - it allowed them to walk with freedom to switch places, didn't tangle and was everything I had hoped for. For about 3 1/2 months. Then it gave up the ghost and broke. I had been worried about the connectors, but it snapped in the middle of the bungee, about half way between the D ring and the clasp to attach it to the dogs. Granted, the dogs pull a bit, but given the stated "durability" of this product, I really thought it would last a bit longer than 3 1/2 months. I'll be looking for something a bit more durable next time.

Walking 2 Dogs? You NEED this quality Addition

Excellent quality and 1 day delivery. Very happily surprised with both the steel clips and the nylon and stitching. If you're walking 2 dogs you will most likely wish you bought this yrs ago. That was me after buying my 1st a cpl years ago. No more tangled trips to the ground. The blue is imo the best blue possible. Great elasticity. Try it!. Thanks.

A must need with two dogs

I have received so many questions about where I got this ! It's great ! My dogs are pullers too- and this allows me more control, while also making sure I can handle them both at once. My dogs love it to because they are close- but have enough of a stretch to explore. I use this for running, and the bounce is great to allow them to pace themselves out too. I have sent this item to probably about 5 different people since purchasing. Would 100% recommend.

Walk 2 dogs on 1 leash with ease!

I love this leash coupler! It has just the right amount of controlled elasticity to give two dogs individual freedom of movement while keeping them in a safe and manageable range. It appears to be durable and is very well constructed. Simple details like the swivel connector keeps them from tangling up. I have found it easy and convenient to use. I have used it with both a retractable leash and a heavier woven one as in the pictures. I prefer to pair it up with my woven leash as my dogs are very energetic at times.

Works but depends on your dogs temperaments

Allows me to walk my two dogs simultaneously. I have a 4 year old mini schnauzer that takes the lead and an 8 month old golden doodle that is more timid. Expect to get occasionally tangled until your dogs figure out how to move around each other. Springs in the material do help reduce some of the pulling but not by a tonne. You'll still need to be alert and keep a firm grip.
