It's a half-link, you will need a chain breaker tool
Not much bad or good to say, it's a half-link. You don't use a cotter pin on the pin of the chain like otber half links. You will need a chain breaker tool and will need to push in the pin in order to connect it to a chain. Good price for the product.

This worked perfect for my sons BMC bike that had little clearance for a full sized link or a chain with one link removed. Still going strong few months in.

Works as designed!
Kind of expensive for 1 piece, probably you should have 2/3 on hand for the next time you need one so you don't have to wait. Well built, will last a lifetime I'm sure!

Sometimes you just need one of these
I have a trike were the chain couldn't be adjusted by just pulling the tire back a little. If I removed a link to short, if I didn't remove it the chain popped off. This little gem fixed all of that. A bit pricey for what it is, but it solved my chain reaction (puns can be punny)!

Chain tension trouble? Look no further.
Awesome. Inserted into a normal BMX chain to allow correct chain tension on a single speed bike. Easy to install as chain pin pre started and ready to go. Just ensure your chain tool is compatible with the half link.

Excelente solución
Ajuste perfecto de eslabones y movimiento del barril interno, resolví mi problema con la extensión de mi cadena; dos eslabones la hacían demasiado larga y sin ellos no ajustaba la llanta pues rosaba en los travesaños de la tijera.

“Must have” for fine tuning chain length
These are expensive for what they are but they really come in handy when you need to fine tune a chain length for fixed gear or single speed.

Good quality
I've been using this on my winter bike for a couple years now. I have a mountain bike with vertical dropouts so it would be impossible to get proper chain tension(length) without it.
