Amazing Value!! In Ground Pool Usage 16,000 gallons

I have been a Hayward pool navigator owner for over 10 years. The first 3 years were fine and the product worked flawlessly but after that I have spent in excess of 100 dollars a year in parts and service. The last time I took it in, it was going to be over 250.00 I simply refused to pay it, and started looking for an alternative. Well I found it. I ordered Wanda the whale based on specific customer reviews indicating they used this in their in ground pools, as well as those who mentioned that it was too powerful for their above ground pools. After Wanda arrived, I quickly noticed that this unit was using all the same parts as my navigator that sells for 400.00 I quickly removed the 3 screws on the bottom to release the cover and extract the insert that acts as a reducer for the flow rate. I did not need to swap any screws I used the same ones to replace the cover. I then took the pads on the feet of my navigator and swapped them with the ones on Wanda. Again all the parts appear to be an exact match as far as the lower assembly is concerned. I put her to the test and not at all surprised, I was delighted to see her perform even better than my navigator in previous years. The pool was clean in 20 minutes and she comes 4 feet up the walls on a Diamond Bright surface. The wings a slightly smaller but with it's circular design the over all round base seems to provide much better coverage and performance. Another great feature is the chassis rotating bumper. I had one place by the pool steps where the navigator used to get stuck all the time, but this it not the case with Wanda the Whale! I plan to purchase several more units just to put in storage at these prices. Once the word gets out, one of two things will happen. They'll either be impossible to find or twice maybe 3 times the price. In summation, if you own an in ground pool, do not hesitate to purchase this product. If you own a navigator now, do not service it again, you are far better off with one of these.

I used the new fasteners provided. All parts fit and work well.I will buy this kit again.

I like this kit because parts fit perfectly and it is a good value. The kit comes with new gaskets and a new drain.

Easy installation, seems to fit fine.

Found a big Igloo cooler dumped or dropped along a road next our house. Needed some serious cleaning, but the latches had broken off and the outside part of the drain plug cap had sheared off. Don't know if the damage was from previous wear or from falling off a truck or whatnot. The parts were easy to replace with this kit. Since the replacement parts are genuine Igloo I'm going to have to guess they'll last as long as the originals. Seeing as how we got this fairly expensive oversize cooler for nothing but a little elbow grease and this kit, the kit is a terrific value!

Easy renew of old coolers.

Put two good coolers back in service in about 10 minutes with only a screwdriver and pliers.

A good cheap fix (or upgrade)

This kit was bought to fix the latches that broke on a large cooler while I was borrowing it. Slapped on the new latches in a few minutes and it is as good as new. I used the drain plug for a smaller Igloo cooler that came without a plug. Tipping the thing over to drain was my only complaint for an otherwise excellent little cooler, but this fixed that issue. Just drilled a hole at the bottom and it went right in place.

Saved my cooler from the landfill

My old igloo had broken latches and missing drain plug. Parts fit well, it’s. It an exact match to the old parts, but it latches securely.

Igloo Parts Kit

Hinges are slightly inferior to the hinges i replaced, catches are slightly different so had to use part of the old catch but managed to do the job with this parts set.

Great kit, great value.

This kit was great value and the chest is now fully refurbed. These chests are brilliant (ours are over 12 years old) and it's great to be able to get all the bits to keep them in full working order. They are very easy to fit.
