Flush for another day
This fit great! Easy to install. Made for a fast job.

Seal and rubber washers worked. I used my original bolts not the included ones.
I installed this in my Eljer 2197 toilet (made in 1989), using tank to bowl assembly instructions for Eljer 2502. The seal gave a good solid mount on the bowl, and no leaks when flushed. When I started to pull the seal on over the spud nut, at first the bolt holes in the arms on the seal did not line up with the holes in the tank bottom, but as I continued to tug on the seal to get it fully seated all the way around, the holes eventually lined up perfectly. The rubber washers gave a good seal. I reused my old brass bolts because they had a larger diameter head than the included bolts, though the included ones might have worked OK. And I used my old brass washers and wingnuts at bottom instead of the included hex nuts, because I wanted hand-tight to be enforced. I found that getting the bolts in was tricky because of tight clearance to the canister in my tank. I had to put each of the two rubber washers on the bottom of the tank, then put the bolt through it, then screw the bolt through the tight hole in the arm on the seal. This resulted in a nice assembly of the tank plus seal plus rubber washers and bolts, which I could then seat on the bowl and tighten down with washers and wingnuts.

If you have an Eljer toilet, this kit is for you!
After reading reviews that universal kits don't work well for Eljer toilets due to needing side flange support, I came to this kit. When received this is an EXACT fit and replacement for my Eljer toilet. The only reason I'm dinging a star as some of the pieces that were in the original picture were not brass. A quick Google search shows brass is more resistant to rusting issues, so I re-used some old hardware. Still good value for the price.

This is the part you need for an old Eljer toilet.
Great kit, easy to install on an older Eljer toilet. Doesn't come with instructions but a quick visit to youtube will sort you out.

Almost perfect
Fit was not to bad. Would have been easier if the two support wings had been flipped. Kept wanting to turn slightly. cut and flipped them. Gave me the option to angle the wings slightly to give a more solid fit. Overall its a good product and would buy again.

Perfect fit on an Eljer Emblem toilet
I had bought a "universal" tank gasket/bolt kit and could not get it to seat correctly on my Eljer Emblem toilet without leaking, even after 2 tries. I bought this kit and it went on with no problems, the tank sat up straight and tight, and no leaks. Don't try to save a dollar or two if you have an Eljer Emblem or related toilet. If the existing gasket look like the one in this kit (wings with little feet), then buy this kit.

Couldn't find this locally, It's an older toilet. Worked great.
