Solid, heavy, classic - the only hand shower you’ll ever need

Built like a battleship. Solid, heavy in the hand, finely detailed, old style and old looking. This is not a brass coated piece of plastic waiting to be dropped so it can crack and leak and make a mess and have to be replaced. If you drop this dreadnaught watch out for your toes or your eyes if it pendulums into the wall because it will break loose a veritable covey of tiny, fast moving, projectile pieces of shattered tile shapnal worthy of the best World War I artillery shells. Not a fancy smancy 214 setting, pulsating, messaging, cheap piece of imported junk. No this relic of black smith era American manufacturing is an old fashion, one setting, never needs to be replaced because there is nothing to break, piece of solid forged then machine then polished hunk of naval quality brass. It doesn’t need a battery, a winding key, usb compatable cord or any kind of metric converter. Just juice it with plenty of out of the wall water pressure and you have a turn of the century Saturday night shower party! What else could you possibly want or need?

The shower head is really nice! But please be aware. The shower head is not for someone who likes a contemporary bathroom. It's not for someone who enjoys multiple settings on a shower head. The unit is heavy since it's solid brass. I'm wary of chrome plated plastic that you see in home stores. I also don't like plastic plumbing connections that are easily broken (other than mandated PVC used in piping). For my Victorian bath this is awesome and looks rich! As a plus, in the past I had to work hard to clean around the little rubber/plastic nozzles on plastic shower heads. This shower head is more hygienic and poses no such problem. Enjoy!

Quality real brass very heavy shower head; Squeeks; sporadic spray

Update: One year later: this head is squeaking something awful and has an errant spray that is very annoying. for a brass head it should not be doing this. My plumber was unable to rectify it. I did have him earlier drill the base in permanently so the heaviness of the head no longer falls. I placed this next to a speakman shower head that has the ability to give me control over whether I turn this hand held on or off, which I like. It is a very heavy piece and the holder I placed it on came with double sided tape which is not strong enough to hold it up so I’m having to take it down after every shower otherwise it falls & initially scared me as it is very loud. It is so sturdy & well made, no damage has been done the few times I’ve forgotten to take it down. I still need a permanent fix on the double tape. It gives a nice strong steam. A bit narrow, but it is strong, steady and no drips.

Very well made

Very heavy, well made shower head. Haven't hooked it up in our new construction yet to check the flow but otherwise we love it.

Simple, Solid, and Well Made

Has a nice solid feel and good weight distribution. Hangs well for the shower rod in that the had is always facing downward. My previous shower handle did not, and if you turned on the shower with the diverter accidentally on, it could be spraying all over.
