Gorgeous. A real stunner…
This was the highlight of my daughter’s Christmas presents from Santa. She just turned 3 and is about 36.5 inches tall. She needs a stool to reach the top floor and we need to move the pool to the side. After much searching we gave her 3 Barbie Chelsea Club dolls to go with it - (Barbie’s little sister) they are a great size. One came with a pull out/ trundle bed for sleepovers and it fits perfectly either in the bedroom next to the larger bed, or in the office by the desk. All 3 can sit together on the large bed and “talk”. The accessories that come with this house are for up to a 12-inch (eg Barbie) doll. Chelsea Club dolls are 6-inches tall. The pictures don’t do it justice! It is thoughtfully designed—looks upscale, spacious. I looked at so many dollhouses and the accessories - even the furniture is cool. Nothing incongruous or frumpy about this pad! Pool is a nice proportionately appropriate size. Some reviews are now dated. The batteries came installed with a plastic cover so no leaking. There were no stickers to affix. No guess work with the colored vs non colored screw tops. Comments: Everything arrived intact. Product looks high quality and is sturdy. There was very minor damage to the front panel to the pool area - of all places. Then I ever so lightly over tightened —the front panel of the patio cracked ever so slightly. I will seek replacements. The assembly pictures/ instructions were at times frustrating but adequate. I actually used a magnifying glass a couple times. These could be improved but probably not w out adding either more stickers (up down front back) or elaborate messy drawings in the manual. PRO TIP ;) When assembling refer to a picture of the house, I used the one here on Amazon to determine orientation if panels. There were a couple points where it would have been nice for a second person to hold pieces in place while I screwed. You want to have a large high quality sturdy Philips head screwdriver to work fast. I have (1) screw at the front right of the house that spins and wont tighten. It’s at a key part of the frame so I want to address that, but it’s not an emergency. The floor to the office arrived a little warped. I tried to bend it flat but it is not flush with the surrounding paint/ baseboard. To start, I placed each piece in order. Allow enough space on a flat surface to assemble because it’s big! Just 2 number stickers were missing, this caused some delays. I think the patio lamp was (2) and the sticker was missing…took me a while to figure that out since there are ~80 pieces. Even with referring to an image I put on 2 parts in the wrong orientation, realized right away and fixed. My main frustrations were the elevator and the patio. You think you re in the homestretch well the patio is quite elaborate. Allow yourself enough time - it’s a lot of steps. For the furniture just look at a picture. I was annoyed piano doesnt snap to stand but it has its advantage as a portable keyboard. It plays 1 note sequence. The outdoor lights turns on but shuts off automatically. Toilet can make a flushing sound. There is s toilet lid but no seat. Our desk arrived with no drawers. My daughter thinks the house is perfect. Played with it all day. I can tell it is going to provide lots of entertainment. I was concerned buying such a grown up home for my toddler — but she thinks it’s beautiful and very “life-like” and “the girls” love it. I was a bit upset there is a moped parked along the side. But there is also a beautiful water fountain along the terrace side. My daughter also has a Kidcraft mini playground, sandbox cabana and corner kitchen so we are loyal to the brand. I jokingly say it always galls me to put their “logo” on the item I have been toiling over for hours. The swingset was actually really hard to put together with 2 of us… but they make attractive, high quality products for children. Buy it, you won’t regret it. What made me buy it too was all the ecstatic reviews by parents whose kids loved this house. It is suitable for a range of ages…Our (Fisher Price) Little People have moved out of their little house and are also hanging out in the new dollhouse. Given that my daughter loves this, excellent value for the money. I got it for less on Amazon and it sold out online ahead of Christmas.

nice dollhouse with slight problems…
we bought this dollhouse for my two daughters who have a kidkraft dollhouse already that we absolutely love. apparently, barbie and ken needed a ‘vacation home’, and hence we landed on this after searching amazon. the price was pretty decent so we decided to go for it. it arrived on time in it’s original packaging, which displayed what it was with words but no pictures - in case your child can’t read, there would be no worries about them knowing what this was. the box had some wear on it, but was otherwise undamaged. when my husband and i began assembly, it was definitely overwhelming. the instructions..suck, to be honest. basic pictures without telling you which way the walls or floors should face. our BIGGEST issue by far was that several pieces were completely warped. floors didn’t meet walls exactly, or what should have been a square room was off and when the floors slid into position, they would fall because the walls were warped and didn’t hold them in place like they should have. my husband is quite handy, and was able to manipulate pieces or use extra screws to make it all work, but it did add quite a bit of frustration and “why the heck did we order this?” moments. once assembled, it is pretty sturdy and definitely big. the rooms can seem a bit dark, so we strung up little strands of lights to illuminate them to make it easier to see for our girls. overall, it’s a pretty decent and colorful dollhouse, but prepare yourself for assembly/structural issues.

Great dollhouse!! My 3 year old LOVES it!!
The media could not be loaded. I saw a lot of complaints about putting this together. Patience is the key. Dont try to cram assembly into a small window. Allow for time to read and reread directions. This reduces errors, problems damage and stress with this dollhouse (and your nerves). I strongly suggest you open everything up and read through the directions before you begin. We did this and follwed each step and didn't have hardly any issues putting it together. I also reccomend have the actual picture of the dollhouse pulled up for reference if you aren't sure which ways things are supposed to go on the directions. There are a few places that weren't clear on the directions and the pictures really helped. It took my husband and I 3 hours to assemble the dollhouse. Be gentle with the boards the paper sticker scenes are somewhat delicate. The accessories, furniture and so on are really cute. Some of them actually work! Our daughter loves playing with this. The pool will hold water (plastic part only). A rambunctious kid might make a mess if it's full. I would definitely recommend this dollhouse!! Pour yourself a shot or a glass of wine and relax!

Beautiful house too bad it has cheap wood
First off let me start by saying it was definitely bigger than I had expected it to be . It’s for a 4 year old who can be rough at times . You can only imagine it being the cheapest wood possible it probably wont last . About two hours into building it ( horrible instructions can get confusing ) we noticed that one peice of the wood was already cracked . All the accessories it comes with can fit either a Barbie doll small or regular size and any other small little figures like peppa pig and so on . My daughter loves it . Another downside is unless you add your own lights …it’s very dark it’s hard to see the rooms even with our lights on I would suggest adding some lights if you can . All the accessories are made well and beautiful . My only complaint about those is the toilet did flush for about 2 seconds and then it stopped flushing don’t really know what’s up with that . Some accessories don’t work at all with the sound . ( of course that’s frustrating because the house was expensive and added stuff like lights and sounds make dollhouses like this cost more money). Overall it is a very beautiful doll house but the cheap wood Guarantees it won’t last very long . One piece of wood is already bent and out of shape and we just took it out of the box. I do believe it should be 20 dollars cheaper . Buy at your own risk ⚠️

Great, but issues with screws breaking
Great gift HOWEVER two screws broke when they got half way in. One screw was suppose to support a floor corner so have to prop it up with styrofoam. Second screw was to screw in roof but luckily it lies on top of the house so was manageable. When screws break half way in, that socket becomes useless and you can’t insert another screw. Also, instructions were sometimes hard to understand in terms of which way each board faces.

Fantastic dolls house!
I am absolutely delighted with this purchase! My daughter had asked for a barbie dreamhouse for Christmas but looking at it, I didnt think it was worth the expensive cost. Plus the barbie dreamhouse is made of plastic and not sure it would be built to last. I started looking for an alternative and having bought a kidkraft kitchen in the past, I already knew their wooden toys are well built and durable, and usually look good too! I quickly found this one and it ticked all the boxes! Similar features to the barbie dreamhouse.....but it's bigger (it is huge!!!) and I know it will stand the test of time! Plus it was £100 cheaper than the real thing! It does take about 3.5 - 4 hours to build so make sure you factor that in for christmas, but it is totally worth the effort. Some reviews have mentioned scratches. Mine did have a couple of scratches here and there but thats to be expected with these types of wooden toys. They're hardly noticable and it won't spoil my daughter's enjoyment. I cannot wait to see her face on Christmas morning! This is probably one of the best things ive ever bought for her. It's huge and it looks amazing and it is such good value for money!

Buy an electric screwdriver!!
The doll house looks great. It is colourful and sturdy. My daughter loves it. It also works out significantly cheaper than the other popular branded house for 12" dolls... However, the instructions were not always easy to follow, they were basic and only in black and white - nowhere on the instructions or box was a picture of how the entire house is meant to look once constructed. We had to search up a photo using our phone to make sure we were putting things in the right place. My daughter has played with it for hours and we are very happy with the item, however before you buy it make sure you have an electric screwdriver. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT THIS WITH A MANUAL SCREWDRIVER - it will never happen!

Quality Issues - Poor Customer Service
Amazon seems to delete most of my reviews - but if this gets approved I will upload some pictures and more details. First - This thing is amazing and my daughter loves it. But for the price and the brand I expected more. Issues - I had screw break when input due to defects (no power tools used) and I had several pieces not fit properly. Some of the 'stickers' were damaged/peeling off. I ended up having to use my drill to re-drill holes since they were not deep enough (causing screw issue) and I had to go buy a bunch of hardware myself to get the thing put together securely. I was 4 hours into this on the day before my daughters birthday when all these issues started occurring, one after another. I pushed through and made it work, but for almost 400$ I was not pleased. I reached out to KidKraft explaining all the issues and showing numerous pictures of defects. I made what I thought was a reasonable request. Please send a replacement part (the back of one room was under sized and would not stay in slots) and consider some compensation for the hardware I had to go buy due to defects. They told me to contact amazon and return it... get a replacement dollhouse due to the damage. So 4 hours in to put this together, you want me to take it apart and return it? That didn't seem worth the effort, nor was it really amazon's problem in my eyes. That said... Nice house, just consider getting your own hardware, having a drill handy to fix issues with holes, and try not to pay full price...
