Under Cover
If you have an outside gas grill or any other kind of grill having a cover to protect it from the elements is a must. The Kenmore Elite grill cover is a heavy duty and high quality grill cover. You will not be disappointed. Where I live in Southern California it gets very hot in the summer. Sunny days with temperatures above 100 degrees for almost half the year is not unusual. Like Tom Jones it is not unusual to see me cry! Anyway, with the hot sun all day a grill cover will only last for about 2 years before replacing. Because of the sun the grill cover will start to rip apart. For me this is true with the Kenmore Grill cover, a cheaper one would last maybe 6 months! If you don't use a a grill cover how long before you have to replace your grill? Consequently, if you own a gas grill they can be expensive depending on the number of burners and features of your grill. A grill cover like the Kenmore Elite will protect your investment. Although, for me, as already mentioned, it may not last more than two years because of the hot sun and occasional rain depending on where you live it may last longer. So please don't think it will only last 2 years it mostly depends on where you live and the kind of weather you have year round. However, buying a cheap one in the long run you really may not be saving money as it will need to be replaced more often. My recommendation is to try the Kenmore Elite grill if your not completely satisfied then don't buy it again try something else. If you like and enjoy BBQ you need to protect your investment and if you keep it outdoors, it needs to be covered up unless you have room in your garage. If you need to go under cover then you need to take action. -MIT

Grill cover
We had this same one for several years, when the handle tore off one side. This was ordered to replace that one. Very durable, looks good & affordable. Lasted a long time. Happy with purchase.

Made of heavy duty material
Perfect fit for my four burner grill. Cover is made up of heavy duty material. Living in the snow belt area of Lake Erie, this cover should last me for years!

Fell apart
Purchased it this past May installed it in June. Fell a part by October. Became brittle to the touch, would fall apart when touched or moved. Faded from dark grey to very light gray on top and 1 side. I live in Ohio so not like we have desert temps.
