Motorized Attachment for Upholstery is Fantastic
This vacuum lives up to it's top ratings. Pros: . Strong suction. . Wide power head with powerful rotating brushes means less passes over carpeted floors. . The small motorized attachment for furniture removes pet hair and dust with a couple passes. I was shocked at the amount of dust that was lifted off the back of my sofa and chair arms. I don't know of any other brand that offers a mini motorized head for furniture. . Everything snaps together easily. . Weighs only 22 lbs. . Is a rich royal purple (okay, that's frivolous, but it's nice to have something pretty). Cons: . Doesn't come with an attachment for floors so I ordered one separately for $12.00. . The dust cup doesn't always empty "with a few taps" as the instructions say. Lint, fibers, and hair get trapped between the inner and outer cups and sometimes I have to pull out a clump or two. Maybe I need to empty it more often when doing the whole house or vacuum more often...

Nearly perfect!
Love this little machine...After 30 years of owning canisters, both 2 Kenmore and 2 Electrolux, I researched friends/family and online and in stores quite a bit and decided to try 2 corded uprights since most of the younger generation uses these. They were noisy, heavy, and did not clean thoroughly especially around the edges as was state in some of the low star reviews. I returned these quickly. This small, lightweight, bagless canister is awesome and the price point is better! So much better than the similar weight uprights and 50% less expensive although I was willing to pay up to $350. I give this a 4.5 STAR ****+ Only 3 suggestions for design team... 1) more attachments even if sold separately...Attachments with more of the soft bristles for hard wood floors, a wider floor attachment with only soft bristles, a wider round attachment with bristles and a pointed tubulars attachment (similar to those sold with large canisters) 2) longer cord ie. 40 feet, 3)quieter, although "as is" is no louder than uprights and most canister. Historically vaccuums had a noise rating disclosed, but it is not found on most online, less expensive models that I researched.

So Small but so Awesome!
Got rid of my Dyson because it was heavy, cumbersome and not great on hardwood floors. Love this little guy, it is a beast on dog hair and is so light weight. The only issue I have is that it doesn’t maneuver well and flips pretty easily when you are pulling it on the floor.

power brush attachment
I'm disappointed in the power brush attachment as the brushes do not make contact with the carpet to lift up debris. Especially on low pile carpet it just seems to spin in the air doing nothing. There could have been an adjustment for that to lower the brushes more..

Easy to use!
This type vacuum is easy use, very lite, suction good. The floor brush is small enough to move under furniture, unlike the other expensive vacuums in which the floor brushes are made terribly made toooo large to get under furniture and other items. This one is one of the reasons I purchased this little handy vacuum. This one is perfectly made with good suction.

Good vacuum but very small canister
The pros: * Lightweight * Does a great job at picking up cat hair (I have three cats in my household) * Pretty easy to get under beds or other furniture * Pet attachment does a good job * The telescoping neck of the vacuum is a neat feature and makes it easier to get into hard-to-reach spots The cons: * The dust canister has a very small capacity - much smaller than the upright bagless vacuums I have. Cleaning up after the aforementioned three cats, I find myself filling the dust canister in about five to seven minutes of usage. This is basically the only reason I wouldn't give this 4 stars. * I appreciate that there is a place for the extensions (but not the pet attachment) to store, however putting it on the neck of the vacuum makes it harder to get under furniture. Really should have made them attach to the canister portion of the vacuum instead. * Reattaching the dust canister is a bit finicky although it gets easier with practice.

I'll Stick With It
This vacuum replaces my Electrolux Canister Vac that was the perfect vacuum. The pros of this vacuum are first, and most importantly, the suction. Works as good as my Electrolux. The carpet attachment is easy to maneuver. Most of the other attachments work well. The placement of the power button is perfect. The cord release works better than any other vacuum I've owned. The emptying of the canister is easy enough although could be easier. The cons: The cord is too short. To get it to move easily across carpet I have to hold the cord down at my side. The dusting tool is only good for exactly that, dusting. The lightweight bristles get clogged easily. I have to constantly remove the attachment, suction off the debris and then put it back on. A thicker horsehair type attachment would be better. I would have like the vacuum to come with a hardwood floor attachment. The floor attachment is supposed to work on non-carpeted floors but it doesn't clean to my liking. We don't have a pet or stairs but I have used that attachment on small carpeted areas and it works great. I can imagine it cleaning stairs very well except for the hose not being long enough. All-in-all I'd say this vacuum is worth the price. I purchased a universal attachment kit with the extras I wanted and, except for the short hose, I'm completely satisfied.

Best vacuum ever
I love this vacuum! I have a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois and they shed 24/7!! This vacuum makes my expensive Kirby look like a joke! I hated buying new Kirby bags all the time… so easy to empty the canister on this one! It’s so light and easy to use! My kids enjoy vacuuming now! Buy it!

My favorite vacuum
Love this Kenmore 22614 Pet Friendly Bagless vacuum. Had one before that lasted about five years. Motor ended up burning out after moving to a new house, not sure if it was due to the move or just ran it's course. Bounced around vacuums but found none of them compared to this one. Lightweight and like the telescoping wand which makes it comfortable for me. Easy to empty the canister and picks up alot of dirt from carpets. Like that you can adjust motor height which allows me to vacuum varying types of carpet lengths.

Durable and Effective
We purchased elite bagged version past summer and we are so pleased with the quality that we decided to get one for upstairs, this time we wanted to try bagless canister. Kenmore is best quality we can get without braking the wallet. When purchasing a different brand from Canadian Tire and it was very disappointing in suction and quality that we threw it out but Kenmore vacuum purchased from Safari store through Amazon was very pleasant experience. We look forward to long lasting vacuums. Thank you.

Seriously? I have used vacuums since the 70s, every brand you can think of, and by far THIS vacuum is the worst thing I have ever used. I've never voiced my opinion so strongly over a product (except out loud at home). For the price of this vacuum? It's JUNK. Not kidding

Good for the size and price
Sucks well. Small and easy to store. Easy to empty. The cable is too short so has to be plugged in in each room. The attachments are OK. It would be better if the tubes clicked together rather than just pushed together because it can be hard to get them apart. Also, because of the orientation of the tubes and attachments, this is not compatible with any additional attachments that could be bought separately.
