My bird loves this stand.
My little senegal parrot loves this stand. Once she figured out how to get around after her initial 5 minute freak out period she is now at peace. It's tall enough to give her a comfortable feeling of height dominance and she's comfortable snoozing up there through the afternoon. I pulled a star for a couple reasons: first the perch is made for a pterodactyl, the diameter is too large for most pet birds imho. It's very soft wood also which my bird would chew through. I wound up replacing it with a 7/8" dowel. Second is the casters as others have mentioned, it rolls but it's definitely not smooth going. Last considering the previous minor flaws one may consider it a bit overpriced as you can buy a rather large cage for about 15 bucks more here on amazon. It did arrive in good condition, it was packed well enough, arrived early, and it is an attractive stand. One important thing I forgot to mention is the dish is large enough to catch most scatter which makes my floors happy.

Cockatoo Perch!
This is exactly what I needed for our umbrella cockatoo. He's a screamer and needs to be a part of all activities. We needed something we could move around the house with that was slender to get through doorways, lightweight and provided no way for him to travel down to the floor. Ding ding ding! (He will still throw himself off the thing like a lunatic but hey, it's typical too attitude. Only issue was with one wheel. The ball bearing for the top to keep it secured won't fit so I'm hoping I can live without it. We recieved extra ball bearings but none of them fit and secured the wheel like the other 3.

Assembly was fairly straightforward (assembly instructions can be found on Kaytee's website - ez-care-t-stand) Might consider using the pan to make a template for tray liners before assembly. The dowel perch is a bit too large for green cheek conures, alternate modifications made. Visible dent in pan on delivery (see red arrow) but did not compromise enamel.

Love thus
My bird loves this, and it keeps him from getting on the floor. Only problem is his burr hangs over and he poops on floor. We put down mats that we wash up.

I ordered the large and it fits the goffins cockatoo and green wing macaw perfect! Seems sturdy and works as I hoped! Easy assemble as well had it together in 10min

You are right, I don't! So why am I doing all the work. I'm halfway thru your assembly, and I needed to take a break. This will go together and I'm sure I'll love *my* work, but really, find a better method for the four leg assembly!!!! (Or at least pay me as an employee)

Good stand, with upgrades.
22 year old Gold-Capped Conure approved. Customizable. I wrapped the slippery dowel rod in cotton butcher's twine (you can use pet safe sisal rope, must be pet safe as they treat some of it with petroleum products, you can use vet tape as well) and drilled two holes into the sides of the dowel and attached her favorite wooden perches. The fit and finish was good, although some of the threads had powder coating in them and were stubborn. I had to use the provided spare bolt to 'clean' all the threads of debris, after that it went together like a breeze. Overall a 4/5.
