Great system - my next Kamado will be made by Joe
I have a Grill Dome Kamado Grill, that I've had for 10 years. Two years ago the inside of the grill needed an upgrade - the Grill Dome accessories were enameled covered steel which was rusting. The lodge cast iron pan I was using for a heat deflector was also rusting. So when I was looking to rehab my wonderful Kamado, I came across Kamado Joe's Flexible cooking system. I was hooked. I wound up buying the Flexible cooking rack, a couple of the stainless halfmoon grills, the halfmoon Cast Iron grill, the halfmoon cast iron griddle along with the deflectors. I am very happy with this set up. I primarily use the stainless grills for all indirect cooking. When I do the Sear part of the Reverse Sear when grilling steaks I break out the cast iron. This is a well thought out system and well made. Wirebrushing the Flexible Cooking Rack for the first time since last fall, it looks very shiny. They also sell a halfmoon piece of stone. Not sure how often I'd use it, but nice idea. The pieces fit fairly well in my Grill Dome.

What a great system! I got this to see if it would fit inside my 18" Bayou Bay Classic Kamado grill and it did! This will revolutionize your cook. Get one and the corresponding accessories. I got a soapstone half moon, two half-moon steel grill grates, two heat deflector plates, and the steel grill expander. Also got the accessories rack and pizza stone since we like to do pizza. They all fit perfectly in the Flexible cooking system in my Bayou Bay Classic.

Fits the Big Green Egg perfectly
I added this option along with the semi-circular grate and griddle. They all fit on the Big Green Egg perfectly and extend the utility of the EGG. The Flexible cooking rack raises up the grate or griddle so that the distance from the cooking surface to the hot coals is greater, and that is desirable. Overall, I would recommend these accessories for Big Green Egg owners. Hope this helps.
