My bird loves it!

I have 4 birds but one of them loves this toy. My Luni spends a lot of time, a few times a day playing with the ball. My bird learned to put the ball on the hoop and taking it out.

Got this for my parakeet to have a new toy to entertain herself with, at first she just looked at it giving it the once over inspection. She slowly got closer and began lifting the basketball in the hoop and dropping it back in, she has since learned and bats it around for a bit then puts it back in the hoop. It has become her nightly routine to play some hoops before she's ready to tuck in for the night. The quality of the product is about average, the chain could be a bit stronger as it's on the thinner side especially if your pet bird is a bit rough it could easily break away from the basketball and the hoop as it hangs down on the chain that attaches it to the hoop. It is very cute and makes for good stimulation for my parakeet. Would recommend it but also suggest a bit of caution to observe how rough your bird is on it to be sure of safety.

My parakeets aren’t interested

We found the ball moved to the other side of the “net” once; but, we have yet to see a single bird touch it. I was also a bit worried about the mirror backboard; but the birds don’t bother with that either. It does look cute in my basketball playing daughter’s bird cage though. Inexpensive enough to try with other birds who may enjoy it.

This is My Budgie's Favorite Toy!

My budgie plays with this for hours. I've ordered this again and again. The only drawback is that the little ball falls off the chain. My bird still loves it anyway.

Do Not Buy-Dangerous Product!

I bought this product for my Budgie Cookie. When the toy was introduced to him, he started to play with it and then got a little stuck between the metal bar (perch) and the back (mirror). My Budgie is ok and uninjured, but this toy in my opinion is very dangerous for our pet birds. I don't want to even think what could of happened if Cookie was left alone with the toy in his cage for example and if he got stuck, with no-one there to help him? I have sent the product back. Do Not Buy!

Great toy but must be supervised for your bird's safety!

My cockatiel really loved this toy from the moment I put it in his cage. I am concerned about the design of the product though as he has got one of his toes stuck in the ball twice now whilst playing and had to be rescued so can't leave it in the cage unless we supervise. He thankfully seems OK but dread to think what would of happened if we were out. We haven't tried it with our budgie yet.

Great idea but ball came off the chain in seconds!

I realllly loved the idea of this but unfortunately my two cockatiels bit the ball off in seconds and that was that! I can't figure out if it was down to the bang up effort of those beaky cheeky birds or poor endurance of the product.... perhaps a mix of both? I would recommend but you have been warned!

Great activity for your bird...

Great activity to occupy your pet bird! One of my budgies plays with this constantly and loves it. Great buy! However it broke within a couple of months and it is a bit overpriced for what it is!
