First one leaked and returned.

My first one was returned because it leaked. What a soapy mess to clean up! They sent me another one and this one seems good. Looks fantastic in my kitchen sink area. No more big clumsy soap bottles!

Attractive, functions well as designed, but has a human design shortcoming. Best for bathrooms.

This is an attractive dispenser, easily cleaned, and with an excellent pump that is easy to control. The large head makes pumping easy, comfortable, and well controlled. It is easy to fill and is very stable, unlike dispensers with smaller footprints. This product has two human design flaws. 1) it should be easier to spot the point at which soap is dispensed. There is a small icon molded into the handle, but this should be made much easier to spot, and the design of the pump handle should make it obvious and intuitive. 2) As a bathroom dispenser, this is an excellent design. It is easy to dispense soap onto a hand or washcloth, and unlike some other dispensers, the soap cannot squirt out beyond the edge of the handle, and never goes outside the radius of the handle. Unfortunately it is easy to squirt soap directly on the housing instead of your hand. This can happen easily because of design flaw @1. It is not a good design for a kitchen dispenser. In a kitchen one often wants to dispense soap directly into a pot or pan, not just into a hand, washing pad, or hand held cleaning tool. There is not enough room under the edge of the handle to do this without picking up the entire dispenser and holding it at an angle over the pot or other large object. This is exactly not what I want. I prefer to use a dispenser instead of a detergent bottle that must be picked up. If you are not paying attention the soap may miss the pot entirely because of design flaw #1. If the pump handle was designed so that the nozzle edge extended an inch farther away from the housing than the rest of the handle, both problems would be solved.

Unbelievably hard to remove the label glue

Cool looking soap dispenser. I had one I got from a store (they only had one) and wanted another so got it from Amazon. The label came off the one from the store but the one from Amazon was CRAZY to get off. I never did get the glue off. It's being replaced by Amazon and the original going back. If the new one has the same issue, it goes back to. {Edit: The replacement label glue came off with the label this time.} Edit Feb 2023: Dropped it in the sink ONCE and it is leaking soap. Done with it.

Design and quality of Joseph-Joseph. No need to say too much.

Great product overall. Only the hole from which the soap comes out is just above the corner, so if you do not pay attention to exactness, the soap will leak on the corner. Other than that, great product.

Improvement Needed

I did not read the reviews before buying this and regret the purchase. I bought the JJ sink caddy pictured and love it. To complete the presentation I bought this dispenser. As others have said the nozzle is a joke. It dribbles soap down the front of the dispenser rather than on your sponger or rag. To use it I have to tilt it forward then squeeze the pump. Also don’t be tempted to purchase it for the caddy like I did. It’s too short—I’m actually using a mini taste bowl inside the caddy as a stand. I’m not sending it back purely because I like the complete look and will continue to suffer until it gets on my nerves enough to replace it.

Looks very stylish/modern next to my new satin nickel finish Fossett and doesn’t take a lot of room.

I bought this soap dispenser to match with the dish rack from the same company. I read some negative reviews as well as some positive ones I couldn’t believe the -ones because when I finally got this in my hands and put the soap inside of it, I felt there was no problem using the wide handle. If you push firmly enough plenty of soap comes out. The straw is long enough to pull the soap from the bottom. And the top is very easy to remove.

Nice

Was looking for something my son could easily push down but it still is too hard. It’s less flimsy than others we had which is good. Easy to pour and see soap when it nears the top. Don’t like the lining of silver piece and how brand name has to be on display but that’s my only negative.

Quality pump dispenser

Well made item that looks smart in the kitchen and works very well. Maybe not be the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for as they say.

leaks slowly after pumping

The pump doesn’t squirt out altogether. Once you pump soap out it’ll continue to leak unless you use your hand to get it all off when pumping soap. It’s not great but it works. For the price and brand name I expected better quality.

Nice looking product

Looks great in brushed steel and black plastic top and fits into our kitchen perfectly. Pump works fine and appears well made. Time will tell but currently very happy with it.
