Lids don't lock together

I like that they stack but the lids don't lock together on one set. They are difficult to get on even with me washing these by handle. Joseph and Joseph has been disappointing as of late.

difficult to open and close

I love that these containers are glass and can go into the oven or microwave. the only problem and it is a major one, the lids are almost impossible to put on and take off. it takes a lot of effort to remove them and liquids inside spill on the counter, sealing them is just as difficult. I wish they had come with information about an easy way to put on and remove the lids.

Doesn’t click together, doesn’t close easily

I was looking to reduce plastic and save space at the same time. I really like the plastic nesting containers from Joseph Joseph. These glass ones are very heavy which I could stomach. But the lids don’t click together. They also don’t attach easily to the containers. Lose lose.

Tupperware Party!

These are great for storage, they are airtight and fit very nicely in my cupboards, perfect set

Words can't convey...

...the difficulty of getting the lids off of these containers. The lids snap on and seem to fit nicely but the difficulty of trying to get them off is a multi-agonizing-multiple position-frustrating effort that leads to desperate searches of tools to insert whilst trying to grasp the smooth glass surface of the container. This all leads to the innovation of previously unuttered profanity and hoping to avoid reaching for a hammer. it is quite the challenge in self restraint... Avoid if possible.

Lids issues

I love that they nest and store easily, but the lids are more difficult than I'd hoped. Two lids are very difficult to remove, and 2 lids do not seal at all. Disappointed.

Space Saving Design & So Practical

I love these containers. The reversed lids stack on top of each other. Alternatively, place the lids on each container and they stack inside each other. Such a practical design. If you are trying to eliminate using plastic to store food, these make perfect fridge storage. The lids are rigid, snap shut and won't touch your food if you don't overfill it. Cook your meal in the ovenproof container. After cooking let the dish cool down then place the lid on top to store leftovers in the fridge. When not in use, I store them inside my rectangular clear ovenproof dishes. They are such a space saver. They're strong, easy to clean and I would love a second set. I'll have to save up.

Okay glass containers but not water tight or particularly strong

I am a big fan of JJ and these dishes were at first an example of why. The dishes seemed good quality, stackable as promised and bright without being offensive. I wanted to get rid of many of my plastic dishes and buying two sets of these should have more than fulfilled my requirements. Initially I had rated them 5 stars. However, I had to take one star off as they aren't water tight after discovering the hard way with a stir-fry in my work bag that they aren't water tight. And then later have had to take another star off because another broke after a slight knock. It shouldn't have broken as easily as it did.

Such a neat tidy good idea.

Lovely item as expected. The only downside was that the lids are difficult to get off, once on. This is especially the case on the smallest glass storage box. Other than that, I am very pleased. They tidy the storage drawer up a treat.

Likely a cheap knockoff version

My mother won a real version of this in a raffle, it was so good that I decided to order two for my own use. However the ones that I ordered were not the same as the one my mother had. The lids of my mother's all snap together nicely, mine don't. My lids do not even snap onto the glass containers without extreme force, and once they are on they can't be held by the lid alone (because they come off really easily). This is not the case for my mothers, they are leakproof and really sturdy once the lids are on. If only one of my sets had these issues I would not be writing this review, but as both are faulty in the same way, I highly suspect these products are a cheap knockoff / fake. I would look elsewhere for this product (like the manufacturers own website)

These are absolutely perfect. Such an amazing price. Nestable, no leaks, easy to clean, sturdy and oven safe!!! The variety of sizes are great and it means they are nestable making them so easy to store. I am definitely going to buy this again when more of my plastic tupperware needs replacing.
