Glue Well

I have not used glue to replace a complete rubber sheet, but only to repair an old loose rubber. It seems to work well.

Surprisingly good.

Glue is strong and easy to apply. Depending on how much you use, drying time is around 20 minutes.

Paddle repaired and holding up!

I used this to repair my child's paddle after the original rubber peeled off. After using this glue, the rubber stayed perfectly.

Easy to use

First time I make my own paddle. Be sure to wait one minute or two for the glue to dry and penetrate the wood and the rubber.

Useful rubber glue

Easy to spread with the sponges included, you have to be quite quick to spread it before the solution starts to set. The resulting bond on a table tennis bat refurb is holding up well

Joola glue is as easy to apply as to remove (!!! must varnish bat first !!!)

I glued 4 times by now and happy with the glue. Now, how I do it? 1. Bat must be varnished with a water based varnish - I do 2 layers to be sure. This is to prevent bat splintering when replacing rubbers. It stops the glue penetrating the wood. 2. Put LITTLE glue on rubber and LITTLE glue on bat. 3. Spread to a very thin coat on both rubber and bat. If not enough glue to cover the entire surface, add a LITTLE bit, if too much, remove with sponge and wipe off. 4. Wait for the glue to turn clear-ish and dry-ish. It will be a few minutes. 5. Attach the rubber starting from the handle side. Roll / press with something - I use a silicone tube. Press around edges with fingers. 6. Cut rubber. Done. The rubber will stay on until I want to remove it, which is very easy - just peel of gently, no splintering and rubber can be reused. Brilliant stuff. I used to use cheap glues and it seemed OK until I had to remove the rubbers - had bat splintered, rubber ripped - never again. Joola glue is as easy to apply as to remove (!!! must varnish the bat first !!!)

Good product

This is a great product for use on any table tennis rubbers. It sticks well but is also very good when you need to remove the rubber for a replacement one. I highly recommend it.
