Use these for homeowners
I get these for my homeowners for a better price here than I can locally and they are a great product!

Big Hole - Little Problem!
We have a skylight "tunnel" in which there used to be an open grate to the A/C air handler in the attic. Living in the South Texas heat, it's not a good idea to have a wide open space to your attic. We had the bathroom where the skylight is located redone a couple of years ago. The contractor sealed up the entire area with drywall and left a small panel cover so the A/C technician could access the breakers on the air handler if needed. Well, we had some air trouble a few weeks ago and guess what? The tech needed access to the entire side of the air handler - nice big cut into the beautifully finished drywall. I researched his panel on Amazon and was happy to find this perfect size for this kind of job. The ceiling and skylight tunnel is painted white, so this was a good match. I don't know how well it would hold paint if you were to paint it (smooth plastic) so I recommend leaving it white regardless of location or wall color. The panel comes with NO instructions (not that they are truly necessary) but I'll tell you how to install it: 1) remove the panels (there are two on the inside of the frame) 2) Hold the frame onto the wall where you want to install the panel and trace the inside with a pencil. Do not worry about the location of studs, the frame is not deep enough to bump into wall studs. 3) Cut the drywall with a utility knife. 4) Once you have an exact fit (you'll need to shave drywall here and there after you cut your pencil outline) place a thick bead of caulking around the back of the frame. 5) Push the frame into place being sure to press all around to form a good seal from the caulking. Not only does the caulk form a seal, it helps the frame adhere to the wall once it has dried. 6) Snap in the two cover panels.

It worked.
I bought the largest size available to fit a gaping hole over the pantry ceiling left by the plumber. The only reason it didn't fit perfectly was that I took an installation shortcut. Per the instructions I should have cut grooves into the rafters to improve clearance for the panel. The interference fit between the outer panel and rafters was just enough to keep the inner panel from snapping into place. It stays in place by gravity and shows a small gap. I reduced to four stars only because the panel could have been a bit thicker to improve stiffness. Good value for the price though.

Flimsy for a ceiling, fine for a wall
A few reviewers have used the word "sturdy" to describe this product, but that's not a word I would use. If you're familiar with this type of product, imagine the usual 14x14 version of this product scaled up to double in length--it can't be as rigid. The frame is the same weight and type of material, so in the smaller versions it's pretty stiff, but at this size, it's quite flexible. You also don't get a single door/cover--you get two covers that go in side-by-side. That's not at all obvious in the picture, and in my view, it looks terrible. Finish around the covers is rough, and the fit of the covers is loose. I wanted to put this in a ceiling, but the covers are too flimsy and loose to feel good about suspending overhead, even in an area where people don't normally walk or stand--they look like they'll fall and break, and then what? Full replacement. They also sag in the frame when installed in the ceiling. On a wall, this might be OK, in a place where you're not going to be looking at it much, but if you need an opening this big, you're better off with a metal access panel, or building something custom to fit. I start reviews at 4 stars and work from there: -1 star for flimsy construction overall; and -1 for the cover being two pieces rather than one.

Nice access panel
Just what I needed to have access to my shower plumbing. Saves me from having to cut into the dry wall again and again and no dry wall repair. (The wife found it acceptable, that's the real test.)

works well
I could not find a metal access door to fit a wall project I had, and this was all that would fit. I was wary of a plastic panel, but it turns out that it works just fine. Using the suggestion of another reviewer, I just used a small bead of caulk/glue and attached it directly to the wall. It is holding well and the two panel halves snapped easily into place. If you cannot find a metal access panel this size for your project, give this a try. It is not air tight, but will work for many things.

Door is 2 parts
This cover worked well for me, but the picture makes it look like the door is one piece. The door is in fact two pieces, which doesn't really matter except that it would be nice to know what you're getting. Also, it wasn't clear what kind of finish it was, smooth or textured. This one is smooth.

Perfect for what I needed
Had to cut an access hole in a closest. Looked for the biggest cover i could find and this was it. Silicone in place and boom.... Perfect

Useful but not sturdy enough to use in an area where it might get bumped
It was easy to install snd finished the access nicely but made of plastic so would not be good in an area where it might get bumped

Decent quality access panel
I was happy to find an access panel of this size. I needed access through to the supply lines on a walk in tub. I didn't want to have to open drywall everytime there was an issue. Its not the easiest to open, as you need a knife or screw driver, but it also means its not going to fall out or open up if its knocked. It says its paintable but I haven't done that job yet. The surface is shiny white, and I prefer matte finish, so I am hoping it paints well.

Exactly as described and shown in picture.
We used this product to cover an opening in the ceiling which was cut in order to access a water shut off valve. Very easy to use and looks good.

WOULD NOT SUGGEST
This product is very flimsy, hard to install and the panels easily fall out of place with minor movement in the room such as if the door is closed to quick and fast or if my toddler hops anywhere in the room or if the fan rotates too far and blows on it at the wrong angle.

Easy to install and does the job.
This product was easy to install - I only have one good eye and still managed to install it! Fits over the hole in my wall and provides access if ever I need to.
