Nice but much larger than it appears

Looks very nice, but it's much bigger and bulkier than it appears in the picture. I carry a good-sized backpack style purse and it takes up most of the room, so there is very little room left for other necessities. I have two size 5 diapers and a package with maybe 10 wipes in the pouch, and it does not fold up as smoothly as it looks in the picture. Also, the strap that holds the pad closed has only a small dot of Velcro on it, so the hold is not very secure. I haven't had it very long so I can't address the durability. I'm not saying don't buy it, I'm just saying be aware that it is not the small, sleek package that it appears to be.

Great buy!

I love my diaper clutch! If you're thinking about it buy it! My daughter is 2 so we don't really need a diaper bag anymore. I bought a larger purse which this fits in perfectly. I bought it just before a trip and I was so glad I did. It's extremely easy to use. I can put up to 6 Pampers Cruisers size 4 diapers and a regular wipes pouch. It's much bulkier when I fully pack it but that's great through the airport or on a day trip. I noticed that Huggies wipes are much fatter though than Pampers and it's a little snug in its pocket. Note though in the picture I was using a smaller package of wipes. It's extremely easy to get out and use and quick to put away. I have recommended it to several of my friends already and to some new moms to be.

Awesome baby item!

This thing is everything you need for on the go. I haven't found any problems with it at all. I use the Costco Wipes when I've used enough of the package that it fits in here and I've used honest Wipes too. I think I usually have about 4 diapers in there which is plenty when you're just running errands or heading to a friend's house. If I needed more than that it would be for a longer trip and I would have my diaper bag anyway. This is perfect for short stuff and absolutely one of my favorite baby items. I wish I would've gotten it sooner with my first child! The strap makes it easy to just wrap around your wrist when you are carrying your baby or other things. Also I love the grey print, it goes with it everything! I lost my first one and had to buy another one in the exact same print, I couldn't live without it.

Not the quality it used to be

We had this same exact clutch for years and sadly lost it! I just ordered the same exact product and after 3 days of use, the seams are already ripping and coming apart. This is a product I used to recommend to all parents, but I’m not sure anymore.

Wanted to love it, disappointed in the quality

This clutch looked so attractive online in Gray Heather, and all the reviews seemed great, so I bought it from my baby registry. As soon as I opened the package, I started noticing some flaws. The stitching was frayed and sloppy on the top Velcro buckle, the Velcro itself is such a TINY little circle that did not look like it would last from birth through toddlerhood. While cute, the whole clutch felt flimsy, unstable and thin. Barely any padding for the head (had to pat around for it as it wasn't immediately evident). Does not come with a wipes case - unlike the Playtex changing clutch, which is less stylish, but also cheaper and more functional. The only pluses I can really see are that it is somewhat cute, there are a variety of patterns to choose from, and the size is adequate for changing. I ended up returning this and getting the Playtex clutch instead. I'd rather splurge on a cute diaper bag than a cute changing clutch, especially in this case, when cuter doesn't necessarily mean higher quality.

Get This Instead of the Skip Hop

This is much better than the Skip Hop version. The changing pad is just as big but has the following improvements: -Uses less space in the diaper bag (the Skip Hop one is massive and takes up way too much space) -Easy to fold with one hand while holding your baby with the other -The diapers and wipes are stored on the side of the baby instead of at their head I wish I would have bought this one first instead of wasting money on the Skip Hop

This is the third diaper clutch I have gotten and now it is my favorite. I purchased this to replace my skip hop. The skip hop one is much larger when folded with the same amount of diapers and wipes in it and the pad is about the same size. With the jj cole I like that the Huggies soft wipe fits right into the wipe holder. This one also uses Velcro to close instead of a clip which is much easier when you are trying to do it with one hand while holding the baby in the other. Super happy with my purchase.

Can't live without it - can't say enough to promote it

Seriously, i can't live without this. I'll always have the packed and fully stocked diaper bag in the car as my stash and just take this into stores and restaurants with me. It holds a few diapers, a small packet of wipes, and I alway sneak in another onesie/outfit and a thin bib. I love that it doesn't look like a diaper bag and changer. I also use this in my house. When I don't want to run upstairs to the changing table (who does?) I just unfold this on my couch and change my little one. I use this product multiple times a day and love it.

Good quality and easy to clean

Love this product! Used it while travelling and it was very easy to open and close with one hand. We had many changes in the car and the change pad worked well. The inside is a waterproof material and is super easy to wipe clean. The outside is well constructed material . If you are ok with a tad bulkiness you can fit wipes, 3 diapers and a travel size diaper cream easy. It also fits very nicely in our diaper bag that we bought from before. The only complaint I have is that the extra padding for the head was put on the opposite end of where the diaper pouch opening is so that’s a bit interesting but not detrimental. I would recommend this product though as it’s large to fit a baby laying down who’s around 27 inches long.

Quality has gone way done hill...

Bought this for my youngest child to replace an older JJ Cole change mat that I had lost. I loved the old one It was gray/neon green (so not super aesthetically pleasing) but was nice and thin, easy to clean, easy to fold and quality made. It was totally worth it. This one Is harder to clean and annoying to fold. They added some padding but it makes it too bulky in my opinion Moreover and since the surface material (where baby lays to change) seems hard to clean I’m worried about the padding just collecting germs. Wish they had the old kind still... disappointed.

baby poop leaked through the seams

While changing my baby last night on this change pad, she pooped a little as I was switching out her dirty diaper for a clean one. Poop got on the change pad and I thought, no big deal, I'll just clean it off, that's why we use a washable change pad, right? Well the poop had leaked right through to the other side of this thing. I took a closer look and can see why; it's sewn through in several areas throughout the whole change mat, so anywhere you get a mess, it will leak right through the seams. Total crap!

Not waterproof

The surface that baby lies on is not waterproof. Liquids seep into the padding immediately. I have the grey/neon green one as well and that one is waterproof, as in liquids bead up on it such that they can be wiped off without soiling and staining the material. I was disappointed to find that the grey heather one isn't similarly waterproof.

Great quality and nice looking!

It is great. Awesome quality. There's space for 2 diapers (you definitely can squeeze more in there, but it will get thicker) and a small wipes bag, I still squeeze a small tube of vaseline so I am 100% ready to go for diaper changes without the need to take the whole diaper bag to the restroom with me. There's some padding on the head area, which I never care before but is nice, specially for those of you who prefer it. Highly recommend! Amazon carries the best price for it
