Sturdy, well-made, photo's tan color is accurate, *BUT* MOLD inside the packaging!!!

IF YOU'RE ALLERGIC TO MOLD AND MILDEW, **OPEN THE PACKAGE OUTSIDE** The packaging is not ventilated, and that leads to mold problems. Since I *am* quite allergic to mold, this was, in fact, a problem, not just a matter of "smell". I'm hoping I can get the mold out of the unused ones, because I had been hoping to use two inside as cleanup-aids. ANYway.... Aside from that, I do like these very much. The tan color gets a bit darker once you have soil inside the planter, just because that's what water does (same thing happens if clay pots get wet). All in all, it blends well with outside colors in general, and specifically, with the bricks I have the pots sitting on top of ((I stacked bricks left over from the house construction to make stacks to support the planter bottoms while allowing drainage)). The 20-gallon size seems to be the largest size that still has handles. The handles themselves seem to be sturdy as well. I would not try to use them to lift the pot if the soil inside was wet - best to let it dry out before moving. I'm not using all five as planters ((not yet, at least ;) )), so I still can use one or two as yard totes. They're really nice overall. Except for that pesky mold......hopefully, they'll poke a couple of air-holes in future packages ;)

These are great for growing tomatoes in!

These bags have good aeration so the plants don’t get root bound. You can wash them and use again. They have handles making them easier to move. They don’t weigh anything so the only weight is the soil.

Mixed feelings.

I used these 20gal pots for 1 season. I attempted to grow sweet potatoes in them. No success. I grew vines only, no potatoes. Upon inspection my soil was too wet. This may have contributed to black mold build up in the fabric. I say may* because I can’t definitively say this is black mold vs. soil/manure staining. I did clean out the pots bleach them and wash them in my washing machine on a deep soak cycle. These pictures show how “clean” they got. Staining remains. I don’t know how I feel. I question if these are vented enough to prevent mold and allow for even moisture. Maybe it’s user fault and I saturated the pots way too much. For reference I live in Phoenix Arizona. Pots were placed on rocks to allow bottoms to drain. Anyhow, you decide. Pros are > easy to move the pots and chase the sun. Easy to pack up and put away. Easy to tip and empty out. Affordable. I think I will attempt 1 more season and monitor the saturation level better. Unfortunately the stains will make it hard to monitor any new black growth??? Update: February 2023 I have attempted another round. This time i have planted regular potatoes. I did have success with potato growth. I watered by hand to have more control of moisture. However, I am unable to tell if there is mold growth on the bag or if its just soil/compost staining. There are no signs of fuzz or odor. I have mixed feelings still, but leaning towards good. you

Wrong colour, cheap quality

I ordered these because I wanted tan specifically but I was sent black. I paid more for these than another one because they were tan! The quality is nothing special just cheap thin material I doubt will hold soil for long. Do yourself a favour and get grassroots pots or similar. And read the other reviews saying the exact same thing lmao

Puisque le pot est beige, il est taché de vert/noir dû à une condensation d'eau. J'ignore si c'est le pot en cause mais j'ai deux plants de poivrons rouges. Un dans un pot en plastique et l'autre de le pot en tissus. Le premier pousse très bien sans problème et le deuxième difficilement. Il est mangé par des insectes et puisqu'il qu'il est en tissus, il est toujours humide en dessous. Je suis un peu déçu....

What I didnt like was they are very heavy so the handles are useless once it’s filled with dirt But very handy if you have limited space for a garden. Just be sure you have them where u want them because they are not moving otherwise Good for potatoes lots of room to grow

Great size bag, but...

Great size pots, super useful for moving around the backyard. I've used it as a temporary cheaper option in comparison to a raised bed. However, one thing that really bugs me is that I ordered brown colored bags, and black ones came. Not an absolute deal breaker, however it is disappointing.
