Excellent refills

I really like the Pentel Energel ink. It doesn't smear or have unexpected outflows. I still prefer the barrel of my Dr Grip pens, but not the Pilot ink. The Pentel Energel ink flows nicely and the barrels are okay for a non-ergonomic one. The refills are nicely sealed and not a single one has been dried out.

Refills for my favorite pens

I won’t use anything other than the Pentel Energel pens. I’ve been using these for several years, and prefer the convenience of having refills to keep my ink consistent. The pens write smoothly and run out of ink abruptly: the ink doesn’t fade as the pen dies, it just stops flowing. Pop a new cartridge in, and you’re back in the game. I keep the refills in my desk at work, and in a drawer at home. You will eventually need a new pen, but the pens last through many many refills. Get the pens and the refills. You won’t be sorry.

Solid refills

Bought the purple 0.5mm needle-tip refills. Took longer than I thought, but it did ship with USPS instead of Amazon. Box came all crushed, but the refills were okay. Probably not the sellers' fault, although they could've packaged it more safely in cardboard, instead of just a plastic bag. Over a dollar each is insane, but I get the markup due to free shipping. Didn't realize that the refills would be internally sealed with wax stoppers to prevent them from drying out. Many Energel refills that I've sourced seemed to have skipped this typically crucial step in the manufacturing process, so it's nice that I got some that passed quality control. They write super smooth, feeling more like a wider nub like 0.7 instead of 0.5, which is typically still pretty scratchy.

Love this ink. The color is vibrant and the 0.5 is my favorite. It makes it easy to print small and clear on documents.

I need my purple pens...

I love the way these refills move across the paper when I ✍️ write.. and, I write often and a lot. For me it has to be ???? purple... The pens come in a variety of colors... You can choose your best way to say "it's Me..."

Pen casing broken after installing refills

I love the pen and the purple color! I had already purchased the pens and decided to buy the purple refills to use once the original ink ran out. Both pens that I used the refill in broke about halfway through the refill. You can see in my pictures that I tried to superglue the split to be able to continue use of the pen but it does not hold. The pen constantly pops apart. Love the product just wish the pen would hold up to the refill. Now I have a handful of refills and no pen body and why waste more money on new pen bodies, right?!??! :(

I love a bold point pen

I write a lot for work. I love a bold point pen. I have these on auto delivery because I go through them so quickly. They dry fast never smear.

I have revised my initial review to give this product a full 5-star rating because they are the next best thing to writing with a fountain pen. My favourite ink is purple and I have written with purple ink for over 10 years. I have 3 Pentel EnerGel Pens with Violet ink. However, I bought this pack of 12 PURPLE refills -- that is what the description was. But they are marked lilac and write blue. So I have returned them for a refund. I should have taken notice of the first review I read about these refills which warned me they were not purple. Whilst they were not the colour ordered and expected they are, nevertheless, the next best thing to writing with a fountain pen which I have done for 60 years.

Sorted complaint satisfactorily

*UPDATE* After emailing seller (in Sept), not expecting response, just to say how disappointed I was, they offered refund or to send full order. I opted for order and it came. I'm satisfied and was pleasantly surprised by their helpfulness and prompt action. (I did have to pay a customs charge but that's not their fault) P.S. You can often now get 12 BL77 pens for similar price to 12 of the more expensive colour refills (i.e. not black or blue which are usually cheaper anyway). Depends if you want to recycle...! Previous review: Very disappointed and angry, with myself too. I've been using these refills for about 6 or 7 years and annually reorder BUT I'll be VERY wary in future. I didn't look at the reviews because I know the product. I ordered (for the first time) more than one. I thought I'd be getting 24 refills for the price. Received this morning: TWO Individual refills (NOT BOXES OF REFILLS). CAUGHT, TRICKED, AND P*SSED OFF. I ALWAYS read the info VERY carefully and the picture was definitely of a BOX. I now have 2 very expensive refills.

Check the colour!

As other people have said ~ these are not the original purple/ violet as you might expect. They are labelled lilac on the box and the ink is very blue... You can barely tell it's a purple hue unless it's next to a flat blue! I've now ordered the violet instead for that proper purple vibrancy!

Very happy with these refills

Always loved Pentel 0.7 gel pens. They are just the perfect smoothness. Since I discovered them they are the only pens I will use. Ordered navy and turquoise. Two boxes, 12 refills in each box. Don’t understand why some people said they only received one. They arrived very quickly. I will definitely order more in future.

best handwriting pens ive ever used

love these pens. smooth ink writes effortlessly. great colours to chose from. however i go through the refil quite quickly- well i write a lot is what i mean. seems a shame to throw away a perfectly good pen as the body of the pen like new. the refills therefore are great for pen life extension. all my kids use these pens now as well.
