I LOVE THESE! I had to come back and order more for our kite-flying! I love how easy it is to attach and detach our kites! I love that you can put your whole arm through the hole or just hold in your hands while the kite undwinds. They are easy to slow down the feed on the string and very easy to wind. We have yet to have tangles in the string! I love the simplicity of this item! My only suggestions--- I wish there were a "spot" where you could hook it when you are done flying so the string does not unravel. That is not a deal-breaker for me, but I don't like the string unwinding in our kite box! A very economical solution to kite reals. You can also buy them in different strengths. I wish they came with longer lengths- but this seems to be a typical length.

Quality Kite line at a great value and an awesome Customer Service!

I bought this to use with a large delta kite. The line seems to be durable and would live up to the 100 lbs rating that it is stated. It is twisted and not braided but that was stated so just keep that in mine. The hoop is very easy to use releasing line. Reeling the kite in is easy just takes time. With all of that being said, I would definitely recommend the item at this price I think you get a lot of value for the quality. With that being said, I did have a defect in my line. It was shorter than my other 300'. Also, there was a knot about 70ft in that seems to be there to extend the line. I have bought In the Breeze products before so I gave customer service a call. All I'm gonna say is they made things right and then some. I would highly recommend any of their products, no questions asked.

Great Durable Braided Dacron Line.

The media could not be loaded. 50lb spool braided Dacron is great quality. Comes with a heavy duty snap swivel. Worked out awesome with my 9 foot Delta. 7in spool with 300 feet of line. My kite pulls and the line felt secure. Very happy.

This line is great for a large kite

This line is great for a large kite, it makes letting line out easy, and the spool is easy to handle. The kite I bought it for was breaking lighter strings. I considered buying fishing line for a large single line kite, but this string is doing the trick for a fraction of the cost. Plus, it's compact & lightweight, so I can pack it in with the kite. Spooling it in using two hands takes a little time, but if I'm out flying a kite, I've got time to spare, right? I haven't let it all the way out yet, so I can't confirm whether it comes attached at the end. I sure hope so! Happy flying!

Rubbish

I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect or if there was something sitting on it in the warehouse, but the spool is not symmetrical and the gap between the sides varies in size by a significant amount as you go around the circumference. And since the sides are pushed inwards at places making the gap thin, I expect trying to use it would be an exercise in frustration. There are also some sharps spots along the outer edges of the spool which will wear and cut the line eventually. I ordered an orange one from the same seller (In the Breeze) and it was symmetrical, wider and didn't have sharp spots, and it was about $3 cheaper. Not sure what went wrong with this one.

The tensile strength of the line was in accurate

Well this is it , get the kite all set up first pull on the kite and snap the line instantly not very happy. The rating on the line strength on the site is inaccurate. Hope this helps and hope they send me new lines that have a much stronger line strength.

Looks good, feels solid

Well made and will do the job. My only complaint is there is a small ridge running around the centre which could cause discomfort on younger hands with lots of spinning through young hands. It smoothed out easily/quickly with a little wet sanding using 800 grit paper.
