Great for spices

It was advertised for peppercorn. I use it for my spices. The bottom opening is larger than most spice funnels. That means it works better than most spice funnels. It rests by it self on top of my spice jars. I am pleased with my purchase.

1. they only show the tops of the funnels in the picture - it's looked to me like milled steel so i ordered. it's not. it's stamped steel, the downward pipe is not of the same material and extruded out even - there's a gold-tone rim around where the pipe meets the funnel body, obviously concealing a weld. 2. the handles are pressed on - there's a chance they pinned them and then polished the edges down, but i'm fully expecting about a dozen times being knocked around in the dishwasher and subsequent drawer that the handles will start popping off. 3. using a magnet to test the stainless, it doesn't stick to the downpipe, the handle, or the lower 4/5 of the funnel cone body - it does stick very well to the upper/widest opening, from either the inside, outside, or the top or bottom of that edge. this means they rolled some lesser quality metal into this area, obviously to save money, but probably also to stiffen that ring. 4. the middle size funnel has some brown residue in it, possibly coffee grounds, mold, i don't know. i'm not looking to trash talk these funnels for fun - i just know that some people may lose confidence in them if theirs also happen to not be polished and clean as expected. 5. being made in china and of 18/8 instead of 18/10, i would bet that gold-tone weld covering is going to come off. i don't care if it's some benign base metal that's unattractive, i just want to know it's not going to rust. thirteen delivered at that figure it makes them probably a gamble-keeper. i've already spent valuable time writing this and feel like docking a star. but i won't. my advice, unless you're using these just a few times a year and are going to be stacking them on a small shelf or hanging them, i would find a model with better steel and handles that are part of the original metal plate to be shaped into a funnel. i've had some before, but that was about three moves ago and they are completely MIA - sad because there's no reason to believe those thicker, solid stainless steel ones wouldn't last for 50 years or more. the set you're looking at here now, i'm expecting maybe one to break every several months. too much trouble to return, so i'm just going with it. think about if you really should though.

A big help, but a bit on the small side.

This certainly beats trying to use my hand as a funnel, but the mouth was a bit on the small side; I ordered the larger Aozita, which is easier to use, though a bit bulkier to store. The RSVP funnel might be just the thing for a shaker or mill with a smaller opening than my mills.

Smaller than expected

Very cute little funnel! Smaller than expected. If there had been dimensions for the TIP of the funnel, I would've known it wasn't right for me. (Maybe that will change.) It ended up being the exact same size tip as a funnel I already have. (See photo.) I'm looking for a funnel that's smaller than funnels made for "small-mouth" canning jars, but bigger than this. Overall it looks very well made, just not right for me.

Not the size I thought I was ordering

I searched for an 8" funnel. This one came up. I was looking for one with a wide top and a bottom opening that would fit inside a refillable condiment bottle. This is a VERY small funnel. It wasn't expensive and it is totally my fault that I ordered the wrong size. I should have been paying more attention. Looks like it would work great for refilling spice bottles. The advertising was not missleading at all, so, all on me.

Good quality

Just received, seems to be good quality. I have used it twice and the funnel works well and feels sturdy in you fingers. I am glad I picked this one instead of spending nearly twice as much for the C&M.

Better than a funnel

I always used a kitchen funnel to transfer my spices, but they would get stuck and it was messy. This has slightly larger opening and so no more back-ups or messes.
