Great Slipping preventative
It works great to prevent slipping in the tub/shower. It is perhaps the best we have ever had to prevent slipping in the tub or shower.

Meh
I like this mat, but it is not my favorite. This perspective may be because of the tub that I have...so take this for what it's worth. I have to rinse it by lifting it every time I use the shower and I've noticed that it hair likes to get caught in the holes in the mat. I like the design, but this makes it more difficult to rinse completely. Still, it does the job.

Smells
A little smelly… but it went away after a few days

Great for an oversized sink, easy to cut down
I bought this not for my shower, but for my oversized porcelain kitchen sink. I looked for a “sink mat” but even the larger ones were way too small. We had previously used a different tub mat cut down to size, but it was really old and had picked up stains that wouldn’t scrub or bleach out. So a new mat it was! I chose this one for a few reasons: 1. because of the color, stains won’t be a problem. 2. The relatively smooth texture means less food particles will get caught in it. 3. Because of the organic shapes of the pebbles, I knew I could cut it down without it looking odd. I just cut off the extra pebbles and reshaped a few around the edges. As you can see, I was successful in fitting it and roughly 24 hours after opening it, the folds are almost flat. BTW, for those who complained about the smell, that’s the smell of new plastic. It will disappear in a few days. Get over it.

Good grip and flow
I needed a bath mate for my shower stall that would fit a odd shape and not be a damn to the water flow in my shower. I have a fiber class shower stall with a bench built in. When my foot slipped the other day after exfoliating my feet, I felt it was time to put something down on the stall floor that would prevent a possible fall. The design of both mat finished and shinny finished pebbles is more appealing that the other solid mats I remember as a kid. And it's far more attractive. The open spots between the pebbles allows an easy flow of water and no back up so I'm not ankle deep in water by the end of my shower. I found some more 6 1/2 inch round little mats to fit in the smaller space of the stall floor made by the same company and style to cover the complete floor. These grip well, don't slide and do their job. You have to grip and pull to break the suction cups that hold the mat flat. It doesn't block the drain in anyway. My only dislike is the strong out gassing of plastic fumes from the new mat. I let it air out in the garage for a few days when it first came and washed it down but the scent was quite strong. It's been about a month and I still smell that plastic smell when the water is hot. If it had less out gassing the mat would be practically perfect.

It’s bath mat.
Definitely sticks to shower surface and doesn’t wiggle or slide. However, the top is a smooth finish with not much grip on your feet. Soap and condition make it a tad slippy. But it’s still a good product that helps.

Not a bad mat at all for the price
After reading some of the reviews on this I decided to place an order and try it anyway even though there were complaints that it was hard on your feet, slippery and wouldn't stick to the tub surface. I think it would help greatly if folks writing these reviews included information like what kind of shower or tub they are trying to use it on. I purchased it for a fiberglass shower inclosure that is pretty much square and has a lightly textured surface. I'm not gonna lie, it was purchased so I could clean it regularly instead of scrubbing the shower floor with Ajax every month. My plan is to remove it and take it outside and clean it vs being on my hands an knees scrubbing away. First off, no the little suction cups do NOT stick to my textured shower floor but I didn't expect them too. The texture is rough enough that this mat does not move around at all regardless of what the little suction cups want to do. Second, nope this is not hard on your feet. Its its slightly pebbled textured but neither my wife or I had any issues with pain in our feet. Third, it is not slippery even when covered with my wife's shampoo and it does not move around and get cluttered under your feet. Fourth, yes I am going to buy another one for the shower stall downstairs.

Mocha non slip shower mat
The mat should have been rolled up for packaging not folded. The mat will not sit flat & I can’t get rid of creases & curled up corners. Suckers won’t stick to shower tray. Not worth £27.44 paid & would not buy again.
