It’s a good doggo door
This door was already installed in the house I bought years ago. Over time of my dogs running full sprint slamming their face into the flap daily, like intelligent dogs would, (one is 50lbs and other is 30lbs dog) the flap would obviously wear over time. I’ve replaced the flap itself about once a year 1/2 as the rubber seals would tear slowly. Now after 4 years the frame of the door itself has cracked and deteriorated that it needed to be replaced. I live in the dry desert and it keeps the heat and flies out, it works as should, and it may not be invincible, but it lasts a long period of time. Hope my pic helps showing what about 4 years of age and wear looks like compared to brand new. Will continue to buy and replace as needed. PS: the door shield to lock dogs in or out can be busted in if your dogs are intelligent enough to run at the door at ramming speed, see pic and you’ll notice one of the tabs is busted off. So just be aware of that if you have larger smarter dogs than I.

Good Dog door, installation was so-so.
I did not like the template the door came with. Ended up modifying my cuts to fit the door in. Once installed, it's a great doggy door. Seems to stay shut even with high winds!

Amazing, well insulated, stays shut..
We love this. We have three dogs, two who are in and out of the house ALL day. The standard soft plastic dog door kept getting misshapen and wouldn't close properly anymore letting all sorts of bugs, cold, and heat into the house. We bought this and it's amazing closes quickly, holds its shape, and keeps that area of our house the same temperature as the rest of it now. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is it's VERY noise when it shuts and since my dogs are in and out all day and night it gets really annoying (hopefully I'll learn to tune it out over time). Otherwise amazing and if you have a house where the dog door isn't in a main living area then the noise won't bother you most likely!

Short Screws
The door itself is great and works perfectly once installed. Do yourself a favor and grab some longer screws from the local hardware store though, if your door is thicker than 1inch. The included screws are really short, leaving only a few threads to hold in place. Which also makes installation a pain. Getting screws that are 1/4th to 1/2 inch longer can make a big difference! Just take the screw to the store and compare the diameter and threads. Or ask for help!

Not too bad
It was a bit challenging to get it to fit but that might have been due to the cut out in the door. After installing it twice I think the rain will now stop running in. I had mixed feelings at first bc rain water did leak through the frame but that’s probably bc it might have not been fully aligned the first time I installed it. What makes this worth it was how cheap I got it for. I got it $20 cheaper compared to the second cheapest price I found for the same item.

Damnable tough door
My Aussie is ripping through it multiple times a day and it is holding up. We'll see how it works in the cold weather (-30 c is coming soon). So far, works great. Update: We hit-32 c and the little seal that was on it just wore out. With the velocity of my dog running through the door I don't expect anything rubber to last anyway. Everything else is excellent. This door is as tough as nails. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat

Wonderful pet door
I installed the large size Ideal Pet Products Air Seal Pet Door a few weeks ago and am delighted with it! It really is a wonderful pet door. Over the years, I have had various types of pet doors with flexible flaps but all of them failed to keep flies out as the flexible flaps always leave a gap. In contrast, the Ideal Pet Products Air Seal Pet Door seals perfectly every time! Both of my dogs adjusted immediately to using it and go through it without any issues (my dogs weigh 20kg and 34kg). I very highly recommend this product.

Works great
I used this to replace a more expensive Petsafe door that I have vowed never to buy again after it broke way too easily after a couple of years. I've only had this installed for a few months, so time will tell. So far it's great. My husky puts it to regular use. Edit: Three years now and still in perfect condition. Super happy with this purchase.

great product and good value
We bought this based on the reviews, and particularly for the double insulated nature of the hinged door. It's a clever design, and it was reasonably easy to install with the broad border to the door hiding my amateur work with the jigsaw blade. We bought the XL size, and our Labrador loves it. The only criticism I have is that this door is so good that the maker should be well aware that they have a world market for their door, and that the rest of world uses the sensible Metric system rather than Imperial measurements! It's not hard to put metric in the instructions. But a great product.

DOG PET DOOR
BOUGHT THIS PET DOOR EXTRA LARGE FOR MY 2 AUSTRALIAN SHEPHARDS ONE YEAR AGO. HAD TO BUY ANOTHER ONE 2 WEEKS AGO BECAUSE THE RUBBER BETWEEN THE FLAPS WERE LOOSENING QUITE A BIT. BOUGHT THE SAME ONE BECAUSE THE HOLE IN THE DOOR WAS ALREADY MADE. OVERALL GOOD....I HAVE 2 DOGS THAT USE IT OVER 30 TIMES A DAY .
