Good quality and expensive solution for a cat door in your screen.
The first one I had for eight years. It has held up well, but upon reinstallation we were a little too rough on it and had to buy a new one. It’s a wonderful thing to have so you don’t have to keep letting the cats in and out! it is important to cut the hinges out properly so that the screen doesn’t catch up when it’s swinging back-and-forth. Also, it must be installed level, so the door swing shut properly.

Pros and Cons
I paid full price for this and chose it after researching dozens of similar products. I've had it installed for about a month. This won't work for everyone, but it's perfect for a screened-in porch, and I love it. Pros and Cons: Yes, this is very thin and flimsy. Also, the seal isn't perfect, and the door doesn't always close tightly. But because the door hangs loosely, it is also very easy for our dogs to push it open and closed, and they were trained in a day or two. I may add a strong magnet for a tighter seal now that they're used to it. The unusual shape actually makes sense: it fits the shape of a dogs' body, and the odd angle helps the door close by itself. Size: We have a 16lb dachshund/beagle mix and a 30lb lab mix. Both go in and out with no problem. The door is light enough for our small dog to push, and our larger dog fits easily. I think it could even fit slightly larger dogs. Installation: The directions say to cut your screen, then save the cut-out piece to snap into the door. Fortunately I had a roll of screening, so that wasn't necessary and I didn't need to remove the door to install. But we use tightly-woven pet screening, so the door didn't just "snap-in" either. I had to use a screwdriver to manipulate the screen holes carefully around each peg. Overall, I would buy this again. We open the door from our house to the porch to let in the breeze, and now we can keep the porch screen door closed while the dogs have free access to the yard. Despite some gaps in the seals, I would say that we get almost no bugs with this, definitely less than before, because it stops all the flying bugs and we aren't always opening and closing the door.

Good for small dogs as well as cats
I have had two of these pet doors installed on a back porch screen door. I have had up to 20# dog use this door several times a day for years and it worked great. The install was not very difficult but is a little easier when the door is off the hinges. It is a good solution for some dogs.

great pet door
Easy install. Eliminates cutting holes in walls or doors. Inexpensive. Lasts years replaced with screen after 8 years but could have kept in use if wasn’t relaxing screen. 2nd time purchased and I I’ll purchase at my next house to install as well. Don’t want your pet going in and out then just close the sliding door or window.

Easy to install, and Easy to train a dog to use it..
EASY to install.. Like a typical man, I didn't care about instructions, and the safety precautions.. it says that you have to use Eye Goggles, Tape Measures, Pencil, harmer and a cutter (knife).. it's BS is just to avoid a lawsuit. It took me 10 minutes to install it. I removed the screen, put the Plastic Frame where I wanted it. I cut the frame.. and Snap the plastic together and cut the screen and tested it. The door worked great, my only complaint is the closing (locking) mechanism, it's really cheap looking, i don't think it will hold on.. i can't say it doesn't work or it works... i am only saying that it looks really cheap... Training the dog.. A have a 2 month old schnauzer (I posted a picture) at first he was afraid of the door, but after encouraging him to enter and exit he got a hand of it.. it took a little more than half an hour to train him... today is the third day of the installation, and he gets in and out like it is natural... I hope that my review is helpful ***** UPGRADE of the REVIEW ***** It's been 5 months since I installed the screen on the door, had to make some adjustments to the door.. I installed an acrylic plate, and drilled together. Basically modified the design. I will post photos of it, this week, if someone wants some input on how to made them, i am willing to share it. Also i am planing of moving the door from the screen to the windows, one big disadvantage is the Weather. You have to have the door open. So I am planing to move it to the patio windows. So after the couple of modifications to the original product, it has basically the original parts that i bought and it's still working great.

Not for metal screening
With aluminum screening, the door sticks wherever you leave it; gravity isn't enough to close it because the hinges are sticky. The way the hinge works is that both the inner (pin) and outer (barrel) parts are in halves. So if the frames don't snap together all the way, the pin is fatter and rubs against the barrel. With my metal screen, the frames are bulging everywhere but the snap points. Below are ASCII art pictures of how the hinge should be and is, looking down from above and the screen is running vertically. ( ) fiberglass .__ (__) aluminum I popped the corners near the hinge so I could take it off and check for screen wires in the hinge. I filed down the upper and lower sides of the hinges, (because I thought the frames might not be fitting quite right), then lubed up the pins with lithium grease. Helped some, but it still won't close on its own. The second reason metal is bad is that after you cut the screen with your utility knife, you now have lots of little wires sticking out, ready to abrade or stab your pet. I spent another half hour cutting them or pushing them back into the frame. Warning #1. Before you start pounding the frame with a mallet, put some cardboard under the bottom frame. Because the frame wasn't touching the garage floor, my screening ripped at the bottom edge near the frame of the screen door. Warning #2. Be careful that the frame doesn't shift much while pounding it with the mallet. I had to make the holes for my hinges a second time. The final problem I had was with the latch. It's kind of flimsy, but the real problem is that the handle for it sticks out some. When I slide my screen door open all the way, the latch handle runs into the middle of the door frame.

definitely recommend for small dogs & cats
works really well, a bit tough to install properly, but we've had it installed for months and my little dog goes in and out at least 5 times a day. It's still standing and closing properly, even in really hot or cold weather.

My cats loves it.
Pretty good, already had another one before so I knew it was a good door. My 2 cats loves it, very easy for them to get in and out. The only small problem is that sometime(rarely) it doesn't close completely.

Love this thing!
My cats got the hang of it right away, and it made our life so much easier! No more getting up a million times because they can't make up their minds. No more crying at the door. Just freedom. This product is sturdy and easy to install! Cats will love this and you will, too!
