Great as a final stage in a RO system

Using this as a final stage in a RO system to restore natural taste to water. Initially flushed it out using a sink faucet to 1/4" tube adaptor. Turned on the cold water and shot 80psi water thru it for about 60-sec. Water was dark for 10-sec then ran clear. Plugged it into my RO output and the water tastes great. RO water and deionization filter was turning out 0ppm water that tasted metallic. After this filter it tasted great with a small dissolved solids increase of 24ppm.

Great replacement for orig filter on RO system

Used to replace the orig carbon filter on my HO system. It is actually better and less expensive than the original. Had to run a couple of gallons of water through it to clear the carbon residue. After that it seems to be great. Should last longer than the orig. I purchased 3 of them just to have one on hand when needed in future. I also marked the date of installation on it so I would know when to change it out in the future.

Perfect replacement for my old leaking filter...

Perfect replacement for my Ice Maker. Flushed filter until water was clear (removes loose carbon dust) about five minutes. Tossed first batch of ice away as it had a little bit of carbon dust. Ice tastes great (pure and without city water taste). Love it. This will last me a long long time. The last filter was in place for 7 years before it cracked and started to leak. This one should last me five years or more. Well worth the price.

Excellent Filter

This has a higher gallon capacity than most other filters and lasts longer. Helps make very pure water.

Good filter!

Wanted to try this filter in place of the charcoal in line filter I have used for many years. It seems to be working well the water does not taste any differently so not sure how to rate it. It works as advertised and is well priced try it and see.

Works well

Working well but was hard to flush initially due to my in ability to find a tap adapter that fit any of our house faucets. Not this products fault but you do need to “flush” filter with water before use so this becomes challenging. Will buy again.

Do the job perfectly

My original came with watts première but this one do the job and more it s good for 3500 gal/year beside the original 1500 gal/ year so nothing to complain about

Large 2-1/2" diameter X 12" long high capacity carbon water filter.

Liked the size and capacity. Will have to see if it lasts the rated 3500 gallons in my system. Would have given 5 stars IF it came with QC fittings and a 2-1/2" mounting clip.
