Small sling does not fit 24oz wide mouth with silicone boot, snug fit without boot

I took heart from the reviews that said it was a loose fit and the specs that say 3.5" diameter. Both are dead wrong. It would not fit the 24oz wide-mouth Hydro Flask with the brand name rubber boot. When I took on off the boot, it was a very tight fit. It would not fall out from shaking. You can pull it out but you have to work it back and forth and allow the air pocket at the bottom to fill. It's really very snug. Since there is no elasticity in the material it would not admit the larger diameter of the boot. My calipers show that with the boot it's 3.1" diameter. Without the boot it's 2.95" diameter. As near as I can tell with a ruler, the inner diameter of the sleeve is about 3" diameter, nowhere near the 3.5" called out in the specification. That makes me angry that it's so inaccurate. What makes me more angry is that Hydro Flask can't be bothered to tell us whether or not their bottles fit in their sleeves with or without the boot which is an accessory they specify for their bottle. AMAZON, CORRECT THE SPECS. HYDRO FLASK, CORRECT YOUR SPECS. GIVE US USEFUL INFORMATION. For $35 for a simple sling, we deserve a lot more.

Works Well

I bought this item for my daughter she hates carrying around her Hydro flask so she's able to put it over her shoulder and carry it with her sports backpacks. There's a pocket in the front where you can put the cards in there it's flexible so you could probably squeeze a phone in there also. My son also uses it when he goes on a hike he also enjoys it. 40oz bottle is in the pic

Doesn't protect bottle, too loose

Got this to carry bottle and protect it. Well, getting off the car, the bottle got slightly tipped over more than usual when strapping it over my shoulder and just like that... the bottle slid off and ate some asphalt. A brand new bottle dented, thanks to a useless sling that is advertised as perfect for hiking and "keeping the bottle wherever you go" (am trying to paraphrase what appears on the description). I'm posthaste returning the sling, getting a replacement in hopes that the sling is defective. I'm also replacing the bottle, too. The sling itself is misleading, in that overall, only the shoulder strap is adjustable. Two large clasps on the back of the sling are supposed to keep the bottle secured, and "you got to press it to insert bottle"... till you realize the bottle will simply slide off and in. The interior of the sling is some plastic or rubber that is it. Only Pro I found with the sling is that it can be cleaned well enough. Coffee stain came off without complication.

Absolutely the best water bottle carrier for a 3-in bottle 20 oz

3 inch bottle will fit like an glove this bottle carrier is absolutely great I bought a Brita 20 oz bottle but like to have a water carrier with it so this works fine

Perfect for my 20 ounce Hydro flask widemouth

I wanted something for my hydro flask 20 oz wide mouth that goes either criss body or on my shoulder when I want to bring along my own water bottle…like when I’m traveling or at an outdoor event so I don’t have to hold on to it! This is so nice because it fits the bottle really well it also has a smooth strap that doesn’t feel scratchy across the shoulder and it is lightweight and well-made. Carrying my own water matters to me because I don’t have to use plastic which harms me and the environment. This will fit the sizes it states in the description. I recommend it if your bottle fits. Hope this helps you choose!

Perfect partner for your water bottle

This sling is fantastic. I've been bringing my 40oz water bottle with me everywhere lately, and this sling is a lifesaver. It keeps my hands free, and I've yet to forget my bottle anywhere after setting it down. The strap is quite long, and it fits comfortably across my body as a plus size woman. The pocket on the front has loosened just a tad from holding my phone, but it doesn't seem to be a problem yet. The clips are removable as well, which was a great surprise!

Works like a charm

This water bottle holder works exactly as stated. I used it on a travel vacation and now I use it every morning on a walk. It's light weight and holds my ThermoFlask perfectly. The strap is easy to change. It's a great product.
