Fit but little noisey
Work great for airflow. I can feel it come out of the register now. But it has a box fan sound from both the vent and the basement.

Good little exhaust fan. Many uses for the creative mind.
I store my 36 foot class A RV under a huge, heavy duty tarp during the winter here in Maine. I also like to start my RV occasionally while its in storage since I believe starting it once and awhile while in storage is good for it. Starting a vehicle that is completely covered by a tarp is generally not a very safe thing to do so I bought this fan unit to use toward creating a "active" vent hose to vent the exhaust from my RV out from under the tarp. I attach this fan unit to one end of an accordion style tin(aluminum?) dryer vent hose that is rated to withstand over 400 degrees temp and slide the other end of the dryer hose over the tailpipe of my RV. I plug in the fan and start up the RV. The fan "actively" pulls the exhaust from the tailpipe of my RV and vents it outside the tarp. The set up works extremely well and was FAR less expensive than proper garage vent hoses. Garage vent hoses are more durable and need to be because they get a ton of use and abuse. Mine doesnt need to be that durable since Im the only one using it, it gets used infrequently and Im careful with it. Before anyone asks why I just dont lift the tarp at the tail pipe of my RV, Ill explain that any tarp up here in Maine during the winter gets weighted down with snow and totally frozen to the ground. With my little set up, I dont have to shovel snow or chip away at a frozen tarp. All Ive got to do is clear away one end of a dryer hose.

Seems to work for a DIY kiln vent.
For what it's worth... We purchased this to make a DIY down draft kiln vent system for a brand new L&L E18S-3 kiln. Made our own collection box out of a galvanized sheet. Approx. 30' of 4" metal dryer vent with a 90 and two 45 elbows (70% horz run). The fan was situated in the middle of the horz run. I was worried this fan would not have enough draw strength to suck through the single 1/4" hole. Fabricated a 3" thick wood cylinder with the same 1/4" hole in the middle to simulate pulling a vacuum through the 3" fire brick floor of the kiln. It seems to pull the flame in just fine. But I'm annoyed by slight deposits streaking up out of the lid. So... More testing to come. The blades are metal, and the fan is far enough that the gasses should cool before it hits the motor. Only concerned about any corrosive gasses affecting the motor.

Does the Job
This fan was perfect for my project. I used it to create an air filter. It works well with a single MERV 9 filter. One feature to keep in mind. The air coming out of the fan has a bit of force, but quickly loses that force as the funnel is not long and the air blows out in a large cone. Air velocity is completely lost approximately 5 inches from end of the fan. (Keep in mind this is while using a MERV 9 filter which reduces air flow.) Noise Level: Noisy up to one room. (Close the door and you will be fine)

The only thing I didn't like about this fan is the noise level. It's a bit loud, not allot, just a bit but it's not a $100 unit so, for the money, I'd definitely buy it again.

I'm happily exhausted after writing this review!
I am using this fan as an exhaust fan and it works very well. It is a bit noisy, but I use it in an area where noise is not an issue. It is well made and sturdy and does the job. I purchased this fan in conjuction with a speed control adjuster switch and they work great together. I am able to turn the fan speed up and down manually. Otherwise the fan only operates on one speed. This is a great choice/substitute for a more expensive exhaust fan. It may not be pretty, but it is pretty good at doing what its supposed to to - exhaust! Overall I would recommend this product.

Great price for a duct fan, moves air nicely, and at this cost noise level is acceptable, and can't expected to be silent or super quiet. Will buy again.

Complemento de secadora de gas
Creo que le falta un poco mas de potencia, es decir el flujo es muy basico. Aunque funciona muy bien en la secadora que lo instale.
