Probably the best desk fan out there right now

Be careful as the finish determines the model of fan you get. I really like mine which is the dark copper finish as it has a lever to turn it on and off which slides smoothly and has all metal condtruction throughout. I note that some of the fans do not have this feature and it seems to be the finish which dictates the divergence, so be aware this review is for the dark copper or onyx finish I believe that call it. It works and first time I turned it on it was whisper silent and has only raised a few decibels since I've been running it continuously for several weeks. I note the oscillation feature works but there is additional noise created as the spinning cam pulls the oscillation gear slightly away from the internal chassis and creates a mechanical hum when the oscillation knob rubs against the external chassis. If it had a rubber grommet inserted around the protruding oscillation knob, which I'm sure I'll be sourcing myself soon, it would hold the knob more toward the center and eliminate all noise the fan makes besided air moving. So far that's pretty good in my book. Will change my review if it stops working.

Build-it-yourself kit.

This is the third (similar-looking but very different) version of this fan I have purchased (fourth if you count the one we got for our daughter). After more than four years of almost-nightly use, our most recent one died. I did have some minor complaints about that version not rotating at low speed, which this version does. However, those three previous versions arrived as fans, ready to plug in. This one came as an assemble-it-yourself kit, albeit with good instructions. You should budget half an hour or more for unpacking and assembly. You will also need two tools: a standard sized Philips-head screwdriver AND a stubby one (see picture). You will need the stubby one to tighten the set screw that affixes the fan to the shaft (see picture). And you will need the longer one to loosen and then tighten the grill ring (see picture). Trying to use the wrong size screwdriver might damage the slots in the head of the screw and prevent you from being able to assemble the fan. And, there are two things the instructions omit. First, there is a piece of black heat-shrink tubing or similar on the fan shaft; you need to remove this before putting the fan on the shaft. Second, don't take the grille ring screw all the way off, or you will have a hard time getting it back in. Get it almost all the way out and then you can slip it back off the back half-grille and then slip it back over both the back and front grilles. Despite these observations, you will note that this is the fourth one of these similar-looking but very-different-inside fans I've gotten over the years. They must be doing something right.

Pricey but nic quality

Really nice looking fan. Easy to assemble. Very quiet. More than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for. I had seen no name brands at home goods. They were mostly plastic. This one is not. Heavy all metal fan.

You will never have to buy another one.

This is the second hunter table fan we have bought and it is for our spare bedroom. The first one we bought teen years ago. It runs 24 hours a day and only gets shut off to take the front and back off to clean. it run just like the day we bought it and is still going with out failure. Absolutely love things that last and this fan is in my top 5 for sure. Bet fan on the market as far as I’m concerned. If it died today I would without hesitation buy another to replace it.

Great fan

It arrived in disassembled, but was very easy to put together. Only need to attach the grill and fan blade and now I know how to take it apart to clean dyst and dog fur off my fan. The fan looks great and on low is fairly quiet. Levels 2 and 3 are louder, but provide excellent white noise. Definitely would recommend this fan.

Finally had to replace my old one

I had my previous fan, the same model, for 11 years, and it finally stopped working. I use it every night for 8 to 9 hours. So I feel like I got my moneys worth. So sharp quiet and puts out great airflow. Perfect for bedside.

This thing will last.

First off this is my second fan iv purchased for my wife. Iv owned this fan for 6+ years, I'm fairly certain she dosent turn it off. It's still going... Iv purchased another because "its was making a noise..." it just rattled from the angle it was at. I move it to my garage gym. 100% worth the cost I'd probably buy more if they made larger stand fans aswell.

Fácil de ensamblar, el color es hermoso, acabados de calidad, y sobre todo bastante silencioso en comparación con otros ventiladores del mismo tipo. Una muy buena compra!
