Work ok for the cost
The media could not be loaded. Light is small, yet the remote control is large. Hubby attached the light to his rear fender using the adhesive mount & a couple zip ties. I attached mine with zip ties to the back of a child seat on my cargo rack. The blinkers are not as bright as we had hoped for, so day riding blinkers aren't helpful. They brighten when braking, but also when hitting bumps. The remote pops in/out easily of the handlebar mount, it's larger than we anticipated so finding room while being easily accessible was a challenge. If we are close to each other while riding 1 remote can control both of our lights, which is convenient & annoying as we can also cancel each other's light. The remote does not have any reminder that it's on, does not light up or make noise, this is annoying as I don't know if they engaged or turned off since I can't see the actual lights. Blinkers turn off after about 15 seconds. Since they sync multiple lights we're thinking of trying an additional set for our front's, however being Red & auto brightening with brakes/bumps, I'm not sure how well that will actually work in front. We got these on sale for $12 each, not a bad investment, but if we paid full price of $30 each, I would have chosen a larger brighter light that included some notification the blinkers are on.

Helmet is good, light just ok
When it comes to a helmet, I would say it is well made and definitely will function as needed. It is padded and comfortable to wear. When it comes to the light...I like the idea. But not how it was executed. Light is small, and probably truly visible at night - during the day, it might be easily overlooked. Remote is large, and easily accessible, but you need to "remember" if you turned it on or not - there is no indication of any kind. Overall, not a bad idea, but can be improved.

Better mounted to bike frame than helmet
My son likes to ride his bike at dusk and I worry about visibility, so I was hoping to adhere this onto his helmet to blink especially when he is stopped to make turns. This product is unique because it’s a 2-part system: controls for when you want to turn that can mount directly on the bike handlebar and the actual blinker that can mount to a helmet or the back of the bike. I was hoping to use it on his helmet because I think it provides better visibility than the bike. It is quick and easy to apply - just peel the backing on the adhesive tape and stick it on, but there were two problems with using it on the helmet. First of all and probably most importantly, it is pretty heavy, in comparison quite a bit heavier than a helmet with the light built in. I should have just forked over money for a helmet with integrated light. Due to the way it’s made, all of the weight is in the one piece that you attach to the back rather than disturbed in any way, so it actually pulls the helmet back on his head a little bit. Secondly, I wasn’t not sure how well the light will continue to stay attached to the helmet and we’d hate to lose it so we ended up mounting on the back of the bike instead. Mounting to the back is sturdier because there is a solid plastic piece that the device slides into and the whole thing fits down onto your bike frame. You don’t have to worry about a vibration knocking it loose. Mounting the remote to the handlebar is easy - there is a strap with holes in it so you can set the size and then you can pull it tight. You don’t have to worry about the remote part coming loose from the handlebar. As mentioned, this is the first product I’ve seen with a turning signal remote. Use of this is really easy - there are three buttons: it will flash left or right, or you can just have the whole thing steadily blinking. The red light itself isn’t super bright but it works for our needs. The light dims as the charge decreases, so we have to remind our son to charge it up. Charging it is easy via a usb cable rather than batteries (yay!) but it’s kind of a pain to have to charge in the garage because we usually hang the bikes from the ceiling when not in use.

Too expensive for what it does.
I ordered this light from Hover-1 because I wanted to add a safety light to the back of my bike helmet which didn't come with a light. Although this light fulfills that purpose, it does so in a way that is not ideal. That is, the light is bulky and heavy, which you can feel when you put on the helmet with the light attached for the first time. Although the installation procedure is straightforward and simple, I wasn't impressed by the strength of the double-sided tape. The adhesive sticks very well to my plastic helmet but not so well to the mount. I had to clean the mounting plastic part a couple of times with alcohol to increase the adhesion. The light didn't fall off my helmet during my ride on a smooth and paved bike path but I'm not certain it'll hold up over dirt or gravel with more bumps and vibrations. I didn't bother using the turn-signal remote because the light is too small for others to clearly see the direction I want to go. So, I just use it as a blinking safety light, which is fine with me as that was all I wanted from this light to begin with. At $29.99 (as of 2021-09-26), I think this product is over-priced and not that special. 3 stars.

Goldilocks of bike turn/safety lights that I've used, just the right amount of brightness!
Really like it! Charged fairly quickly to full when it arrived and light was easy to mount to the bike. The light is bright enough to alert others of where you are (whole light flashes) or which direction you're turning (flashing left or right turn lights). It's not obnoxiously bright like some other ones I have seen, this one seems to be the Goldilocks of bike lights as far as brightness goes. I have the remote mounted on to the handlebar where it's easy to access while I'm riding. As a small side note, I noticed when I first tried it as a turn signal, they appeared to alternate between dim and the brightness it should be uncontrollably. Ensure you have the full brightness of the LED by making sure that your light is fully charged! As soon as I got it charged up, the lights lit up as bright as they should've been.
