Big and sturdy

I use it for houseplants and now I don't have to fill up some mini jug like million times. Spout screws off. Yay.

Update: Not worth the money

First the company sent me the wrong watering can, then when I got the correct one, it wasn't built the way the picture was on Amazon. The final insult, it leaks. This is one of the most expensive watering cans out there and not worth it Update: the leaks couldn't be fixed. I tried sealants and finally braising. The seams were sealed thinly with some gray stuff that melts easily. Fixing leaks created more leaks. Off to the recycling bin with it.

Great value.

This is well made, with no sharp edges. All galvanized with a screw-on rose that even incorporates an O-ring seal. The wife was very pleased to receive it. All they sell in local stores is plastic junk and painted tin. I will probably be ordering another one soon. (I did order another one.)

Non-functional item

I recently purchased this watering can, along with another can from Houston International after reading some good reviews online. Both cans arrived later than the stated delivery times, and both cans leaked heavily from the join between the body and neck of the spout. There is an option to return the items for a refund - which the purchaser pays - but it was much much cheaper to buy some silicone and make the repairs myself. 2 items bought - 2 items defective...not the best statistic, so I definitely won't make another purchase.

Excellent watering can!

This is a fantastic watering can. It's huge but not heavy. Its handle allows you to grip it wherever you need to to keep it balanced both carrying and pouring. The "rose" screws on so it's secure. It's really well-designed and a joy to use.

cracked, leaks everywhere!

This worked well for about 3 months - just past the amazon return window. Then water started leaking from several places, including the place noted by a previous reviewer. Now it leaks everywhere and is no longer usable. What a waste of money! We loved the idea that it was not plastic, but sadly it was not well made.
