If you're looking for a thorough review - here you go!
I am not normally the person to get excited over new cleaning products. I just want something that does the job it's supposed to do - no bells and whistles necessary. This vacuum got me excited enough to come write a review. I'm going to break this down by features. - Chord length - The chord is nice and long! With my old vacuum I would get so annoyed because I was either accidentally pulling the plug out of the outlet or having to stop what I'm doing to change to a closer outlet just to finish a room. Drove me insane! With the Hoover I found myself able to do an entire room and sometimes start into another room all without having to change outlets. Seems silly to rave about but it saved me time and frustration. - Hose/tools - I live near the woods so I'm in a constant battle with spiders and cobwebs. A durable hose is important to help clean the hard to reach webs. I just received the vacuum yesterday so I cannot attest to the long lasting durability of the hose but it feels like a great quality and made my dusting rounds today a lot easier. My last vacuum the hose kept cracking and I would lose all suction and had to hold it a certain way to be able to clean. The Hoover also has an awesome feature where you can lower the suction of the hose which I found helpful today when a plant tipped over on my table and I was able to clean it up without sucking up the table cloth. As far as the tools - it came with this weird "pet" attachment that has heavy duty rubber strips instead of rollers - at first I looked at it like "what the heck is this going to do?" but let me tell you - it's amazing. I vacuumed my steps today with that attachment and while it's kind of awkward to use at first it completely transformed the carpet and brought it back to life! I literally texted my husband while he was at work saying "the pet attachment completely revitalized our carpet!!" (it's been a tough year so yea I'm pumped with any small wins). - Weight - I know some of the reviews said that it's too heavy and hard to push - I disagree. It's not the lightest vacuum I've ever owned but it definitely isn't too heavy. It has just enough weight to feel like it's built to last and it has amazing suction power that you can definitely feel when pushing but I did my entire house today - including carrying the unit up the stairs while cleaning them - and carrying the vacuum by the handle while using the hose to clean all along the trim and ceilings and I have no complaints about the weight. Trust me I'm no weight lifter so my arms would be falling off if this was too much to handle. - Hardwood/tile - I know a lot of vacuums say they are good for hardwood and tile floors - I have never been impressed with their abilities and opted for a broom and dust pan - I have three dogs so I would get what I like to call "fur tumbleweeds" not fun to deal with. The Hoover seemed to do an amazing job even on the non carpet areas of the house so I'm pretty pumped to not have to sweep around tumbleweeds anymore! So if anyone is still reading at this point...bottom line is so far I'm very impressed with this vacuum. If I remember I will come back and update about the long lasting durability but after researching a bunch of vacuums and seeing the prices I am happy to say that this vacuum is cheaper and seems to do an amazing job so far! The amount of dirt/dander/ and fur it picked up even though I recently vacuumed with my old vacuum is amazing (and disturbing!) My husband and I have noticed our allergies this year have been out of control and after seeing what this vacuum picked up I wasn't surprised! So hopefully now we will be getting some relief!

Maintenance headache
While this is a very powerful vacum, it gets clogged every 2 cleaning of rugs and one carpet. There's a "thing" at the top of the cleaner to signal that it's time to clean filter, it never works. When the carpet starts to streak with dirt then it's time to disassemble the entire vacum to clean the filter, the two containers and even the hose, and the bottom of the vacum. Even after cleaning, dirt and rocks keep falling out of the hose and vacum, has to be very thoroughly cleaned. I miss the days when all you had to do was trash the vacum bag and an occassional deep cleaning.

Lots of Positives ... and Negatives. Let's Review Them!
I bought this because my last vacuum was dropped and broken in the middle of a major cleaning project. It was a different make, but in the same price range as this one. I ordered this because it could come the next day. What I got has the same part number on it, but is different from the machine shown--most conspicuous is that there's no belt disconnect, and that was part of the reason why I got this one. On with the review. THE GOOD Price Vacuum has good suction Some of the features (read on) are pretty good--especially one of the attachments. THE BAD Poor quality control. One of the attachments had a plastic molding "burr" that actually cut my hand the first time that I tried to twist it on. It was easy enough to cut it off, but it shouldn't have been sent out like that. If you are older, or have limited mobility, having to reach almost to the floor to attach or disconnect the hose so that you can use it with the attachments may be difficult. It "clicks" into place just a few inches above the floor. It's pretty heavy to pick up. The power on/off button is recessed and covered with a flexible material. I find myself fumbling to find the exact center of the button, then push it straight in. Sometimes it's hard to get the switch to work--not what I want if I have to turn off the power in a hurry. The attachments ... where to begin? For starters, think of the on-board storage points as only being used when the vacuum isn't being used. They are going to fall all over the place if you don't remove them before moving the machine. In short, they would have been better off putting them into a bag that could clip somewhere during storage. Then you'd only have to fiddle with one bag of stuff instead of three loose items. There's one with a flimsy little brush sub-attachment that likes to catch on stuff and fly across the room. That same attachment has a multi-position feature that pops out of position with very little force, making it more of a "multi-flop" tool. If you are gentle with it, you won't pop it out of the set position, but I'm not always vacuuming things that can get gotten up gently. Being perfectly honest, the only job that this attachment did really well was vacuuming dust out of a remote controller's buttons. The extension attachment assembly is okay. It's a bit short, and it took a little bit of use before it would stay on without having to be overly tightened down, but it does the job. The red extra part of the extension doesn't seem to do a lot that just the extension tube won't do, but it makes it a bit longer. The star of the accessory show is the pet hair remover attachment. It uses vacuum force to spin something along the lines of a poultry plucking machine, and the same technique that removes little feathers will also remove pet hair from pretty tough spots. For example, with a bit of persistence and patience I was able to get a strip of velcro a few inches long completely freed from a mat of pet fur. If you are using this attachment on cloth-covered furniture, hold the fabric tight. Loose fabric will just seal off the vacuum intake and stop the brushes from twirling. THE UGLY I find this to be inexcusable. The vacuum has a long power cord, and that's a good thing, but they went cheap on this part of the build. EVERY other corded vacuum I've seen in my long life has had a power cord made of very flexible wire that behaved pretty much like light rope. Not this one. This one has a power cord that is rather stiff and kinks up so that it won't lay flat on the floor. This one poor design feature would prevent me from ever buying this machine again. I'm very tempted to replace that cord with the one from my old vacuum ... it's just that bad. WRT the above: some of the info that I saw on this model vacuum also said that it has an auto rewind for the cord. Not on mine, but I don't think that was mentioned either way for this one.

Great suction - Heavy to lift up stairs
I have only used it 3 times, so I don't know what it will be like in the long-run, but so far, it works great. We have 2 cat and it removes hair very easily. It's easy to put together. My only issue is that it is not easy to vacuum stairs with it because it is heavy to elevate from one stair to the next. Otherwise, I am happy with it.

Great Suction
Steam cleaned our basement wall to wall rugs about three weeks ago. Absolutely shocked at how much dirt and dust this vacuum pulled up - two full canisters. Did all or our area rugs next - again shocked at how much this machined pulled up.- carpets and area rugs look new again. Only complaint would be having the electrical cord at the base of the machine - need to hold it by hand at the handle level while vacuuming to keep the cable from getting run over. Any time you have an upright - it is more difficult to get under furniture as well.

Great vaccume
Works great. Has lots of suction power. It is a little heavy to pick up, probably because of the heavier suction motor.
