Sanitaire very good vacuum been using it for many years. .
I have cleaning business for over 25years been using Sanitarire upright vacuum for many years from time to time I change out old vacuum cleaner replace with new one I order two vacuum cleaner two like new this is first one I received this is not like new and one I order this not it model number is wrong I was very disappointed to receive this.This is not like new.i hope second one not like this.because I need three more so I hope next one don't look like this.

Pictures not the same as what I received
The media could not be loaded. For cleaning a church, I've used these vacuum cleaners for years and the pictures that were presented with purchase options were not the same as what I thought I was receiving. I would have gladly paid the extra 50 bucks to get what I was after. The quick access to replace the fan has proven to be the best vacuum. I pictures showed this stile, but all 3 where the ones you have to remove the top, and moter to get at the fan.

Almost Like My Old Eurika
Very similar in apperance and operation as my old Eurika upright that finally died after 45+ years of operation. Very good suction but a little noisy and a bit heavy but otherwise satisfied. This model has the dump-out bag but I would prefer the model with the replaceable bags.

Works great
Although this vacuum doesn't have any hose attachments, it works well. I have 3 cats and a dog, so we have plenty of hair. It really picks up the hair.

Amazing auction, but not good for home use
I loved the way this vacuum cleaned - really did, so I want to be clear - if you are looking for a straight vacuum that does not have tools to cleans corners, crevices, etc., this is your vacuum. My carpets felt fluffy and soft after use. However, it really is a one trick pony so you have to remember that…and it’s not as easy to maneuver unless the raise the pile height, which somewhat defeats the purpose.

Spend the Extra $80 to Buy the SC886G
I work at a golf course with multiple event rooms that need to be vacuumed multiple times per week and we previously owned 2 of the heavy duty, all metal SC886G models until our maintenance man threw them out because they weren't working at the time because he did not realize how cheap the replacement parts cost!! So we had to start over with all new vacuums and I purchased this 1 first to see if there was a noticeable difference between this one (SC684G) and the all metal model (SC886G). The main difference is the hood and power button on the 684G are plastic where the hood and power button are metal on the 886G and at first it didn't seem like a huge difference but it turns out this model is much less durable than the 886G. The switch for the power button stopped working less than 6 weeks after buying it!! I bought a new switch for $10 and changed it myself but I am worried that this vacuum is going to have problems with the power button and electrical switch breaking and needing to be replaced every so often. As soon as it broke, I ordered one of the 886G models. I got lucky and found a refurbished one being sold by Amazon so I paid the same price the 886G that I paid for the 684G but I would have paid full price for a new 886G if the refurbished one wasn't available. I highly recommend spending the extra $80 to get the all metal 886G instead of this 684G.
