Lightweight, safe foundation alternative

I have been simplifying my skincare and cosmetic routine over the last few months. The EWG recommends Honest Beauty as one of the cleanest brands, along with that, it's at a more affordable price point than most of their recommended brands, so I gave it a try. This is not a full coverage foundation by any means: it's lighter and sheer like a BB creme. It tints the skin and evens out the complexion, but it lets your natural tone show through-- and that's my preference. Along with that, it has sunscreen, vitamin C, and other moisturizers. It's a barely-makeup kind of makeup. My only criticisms are that it could blend a little smoother. I have dry skin and I feel like it clings to my dry patches a little, so I have to apply it directly after moisturizing. I also ordered the lightest shade and it's still just a little too dark/warm-tinted for me. But that could be because it's winter and I live in the North, so it may be a better match for me come summer.

I'm impressed

I have struggled to find a BB cream that works with my VERY oily, sensitive ,acne prone skin and this stuff is great! It doesn't clog my pores and it wears all day without being too thick. The only downside to it is the shade range. I am a VERY pale girl, and the lightest shade is just a bit too dark, but with a little blending I can make it work. Worth the money!

Great for mixed skin, and….

This is my absolute favorite “makeup” product. It is light coverage, but buildable. Perfect for all seasons. Doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily or feel like I’m wearing makeup. Once it’s one I forget it’s there. I use this instead of sunscreen

Velvety and smooth! Perfect for combination skin

I'm in love with this makeup ????I've spent literally hundreds of dollars on foundations and other makeup products. Only to be dissatisfied. Honest Beauty changed that for me. I am in love with the texture and lightweight feel, it's no longer a struggle to apply makeup. I use to dread my morning makeup routine. But now I look forward to using it to brighten my face and cover blemishes. I've finally found what I need!

Still not totally sure…

I’m 69 with normal to dry skin. I’ve tried many many foundations, from very expensive to drugstore brands. This goes on rather greasy-feeling but then settles in. It looks okay throughout the day and the color match was great. It’s very moisturizing and doesn’t exacerbate my wrinkles, so I like that about it. I’ve just ordered it again, so I’m going to keep using it for now. I just wish it wasn’t so greasy looking going on. I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin but at the price, it’s worth trying otherwise.

surprisingly very good coverage and moisturizing!

I was a bit skeptical about getting it as the shade range is really bad. I watched a lot of youtube videos and realized that even Fair seems dark. but a lot of reviews also mentioned that once it's blended in, it's ok. Being a light skin myself, i thought maybe to give it a try. I'm glad I did! love this tinted moisturizer. it's moisturizing enough for my dry skin and also, the tone is not that bad. Once blended out, my skin looks good! it lasts a pretty good time too, without looking cakey and dry. good buy!
