Great value for the cost

Nice sturdy bench
The finish on the wood base pieces was flawless & everything was well packed for shipping. The black vinyl seat was nicely finished & has plenty of padding. The hardware packet included extra pieces, if needed. Fit is perfect & tight when fully assembled. Several reviews complained about having to "re-drill holes". This is not necessary if you don't fully tighten all the screws until you fit everything together. The cross pieces have dowels that fit into small holes on each leg & a screw pulls the pieces together. (Smart design to keep the cross pieces from turning.) It was easy to align the dowel with the hole on each leg, then start the screws to attach the legs to the cross pieces. Tighten them a little at a time until fully assembled.

ready to go out of the box - stout and spacious
A plane-Jane bench/storage, came assembled, and built sturdy/cleanly, there is NOTHING LIKE IT in all of amazon's furniture collection. If your over 200lbs, you may find the seat feeling like 'old diners' restaurant seating, the padding is decent otherwise, Wish wood were stained over thin black paint over white primer. Wood thickness will allow firm mounting tiny shelves and/or hooks, overall size is just large/small enough to accommodate a 2 pairs of large/ 10" tall boots. The backside is simply a wood veneer wall that can easily be removed to permit dual sided access/ventilation. For those of us living in small west village railroad apartments, this is your boots/kettlebell storage, barbell workout, all-in-one bench. The old tipsy folding creaky-Valet is off to the thrift store. welcome home Bedford.

Fantastic bathroom vanity bench, well worth the money, very pretty
My family member wanted a bathroom bench for our master bath and she is very picky, I started looking and wanted something to match our black espresso cabinets in our bathroom. I found this, showed it to her before ordering it, and she loves it. It's really well made, very pretty, matches our cabinets prefect, and it's just what she wanted. I would highly recommend this for any one looking for a vanity bench that's well made and worth the money. Assembly was very easy and took maybe 20 minutes, she built it herself no problem and went slow and careful to make sure she did not scratch anything and followed the instructions. Again, well made and worth the money

Comfortable and Strudy
I weigh 300lbs and this stool feels sturdy and is large enough for my extra large rump. My husband put it together for me and didn't complain about having issues. The cushion is thick enough where I can sit on the stool for extended time periods. Sometimes I pull it over to my desk and use it for a chair. This is one of the best items I've purchased from Amazon.

VERY HIGH QUALITY
Before I even assembled this stool I was super pleased to see that the brand is Flexsteel. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The assembly went quickly and the finished stool is very sturdy. My bathroom cabinets are double espresso so the black matches so close it looks like it was intended for my cabinets. I HIGHLY recommend this stool. You will not be disappointed.

very sturdy quality piece of furniture
I received and spent around an hour putting it together. with that being said, the time puttying together was worth it. it is a good looking quality sturdy stool (not junky flimsy or cheap looking) well worth the money. a nice addition to my living room. I intend to use it a a foot stool as well as a sitting stool A 5 star all day ( its not that hard to put together )

Decent product for the money
Assembly took about 15-20 minutes. The bolts lined up okay for assembly. The comfort level is good; standard chair height with no back so it is easy to maneuver. We use this in a guest bedroom under a small desk. It seems pretty sturdy enough to support a 330 lb or less person.

Nice bench! Good value for the price. Other sellers want quite a bit more than Amazon for the same item.
