Works well
It is easy to use and place in the ground. It holds the position in the ground. It's odd that it has a handle like you would find on a trip pod to move a camera tilt. The tilt feels loose which you can tighten to hold in place. It will work to place game cameras in the field. I hope it doesn't move when I leave camera out for months.

Just what I was looking for.
I have lots of trail cameras. I was looking for a stake like this to set up on antelope watering hole and other times that there are no trees or fence to use.

Great product, buying 4 more
I use a lot of trail cameras and have been looking for an alternative to trees, straps and bungee cords. I do NOT use screw-into-tree type of mount. I've been testing HME T-Post holder, which is also a great product at a very reasonable price around $10. But T-Posts are not nearly as convenient to use as this product, which is a post and holder in one. I haven't been using it long but, so far, it's the best for my purposes. My ground is not very hard so pushing into the ground was not tough. It is a telescoping pole with a maximun height of 36", which is what I used and worked well. Since it only goes into the ground about 8 inches, I was concerned it might not be sturdy enough. No worries, it's just fine. Easy to take up but sturdy enough to do the job. Contrary to some reports, the swivel arm goes side-to-side AND up and down. At first, I also thought it only went up and down but soon realized this is simply because the nuts that control the tension were a bit tight. Use a little more "elbow grease," or loosen the nut. I just started using this mount so I have no experience yet with the rust issue other than to say a little rust isn't too bad unless it significantly reduced the life expectancy of the product. If I get 3-4 years out of a $21 product, it will do until something better comes along. In light of these comments, I think I'll spray a bit of WD40 on the unpainted parts. Ignore the complaints about the packing. While perhaps somewhat justified, who cares. Finding something that's this well suited for the job, at a reasonable price, and them complaining about some tough plastic that a pair of scissors will easily cut is a waste of time and an unfair criticism of the product itself. The camera mounting bolt could be a little longer, but still works fine on my Browning. The mount came with four rubber washers. I removed three to allow more thread engagement. I'm buying a 4-pack of these mounts today. When they arrive I'll see if the bolt can be replaced. If not, I'll still be a happy user. NOTE: I use this type of unsecured camera mount on the interior of my property. Where my property adjoins public use lands, I recommend something with a locking mechanism. After they've been in the ground for a year, or so, T-Posts can be tough to get out when driven sufficiently into the ground. I'd recommend a 6' post driven nearly 3' deep.

Good sturdy stand.
My game camera came with a thin metal mounting bracket, but needed to provide my own pole to mount it on. I used a 4’ metal shelf bracket for the pole. It wobbled, fell over a few times, and the bracket that came with the camera was impossible to keep tight once adjusted. And it moved enough in the wind that the motion detector would trip and take pics of nothing. By comparison, this is a good sturdy stand, and is easy to push into the ground with the step-on bottom. The point that drives into the ground has a blade on one side that helps keep the stand from wobbling when it’s driven in. Shaft and step-on part are sturdy square metal. Once this stand is in the ground, it’s pretty solid. The head where the camera mounts swivels and tilts, but these are friction adjustments and you’ll need a needle nose pliers or small wrench to adjust them. Once you have them set right, you can just push in the appropriate direction and the camera will stay at the angle you put it. There are also several rubbery washers around the bolt that holds the camera against the bracket. They are pretty thin and I had to remove three of them to get enough of the bolt to insert into the threaded camera socket. I put them in a tool drawer in case I ever need them to mount another type of camera. Good value for the price.

Solid product but price is going too high...
I have a few of these, and they work very well for my Reveal Camera Solar Panels. What I do NOT like is the recent, almost $7, price increase over what I have been paying. I need more of these, but will not buy at an inflated price.

Trail camera mount is great.
I was looking for a trail camera mount that would work on a trail camera with the camera attaching point on the back of the camera. Most cameras have the attaching point on the bottom but my trail camera has the attaching point on the back of the camera. This trail camera mount is well made. I would recommend this camera mount to anyone looking for a way to mount their trail camera in an easy manner.
