Super strong grip on round shank drill bits

Guys, this is a real good chuck. If you have a milling machine or drill press with R8, use this for ease of bit change. Hand tightened, we have wrung off several 3/16" twist bits, just outside the chuck jaws. Awesome grip. Tool-less tight, tool -less release. Recommend it for the money. We have used it heavily for several months on a milling machine. We have even used mill bits in it and it performs well.

Quality integrated drill chuck but short grab

Good/great integrated drill chuck. Only downside is depth of tool grab, <1.5" for 1/2" diameter tools. Older 5/8 chuck version I had it could grab larger diameter double end center drills (or if I was in a rush end mills). My expensive workaround was to buy long double end center drills then cut into two piece with cutoff saw. One long/regular then one short/snubber.

Quality Tool so far

Actually this is a pretty nice drill chuck very concentric would like to see a spanner wrench supplied with it After a few months of use still holding its own, and still wish I had a wrench for it, it sucks with out one

Impressive for the price!

I purchased this chuck to use with small bits on my large drill press. My initial impression was very good, well packaged, seemed well made. Was even more impressed once it was installed. TIR was better than I expected (or need), tightening is quite easy and secure. It spends a lot more time in the drill press than I planned, for wood or metal. The big chuck only goes in when I need a bigger bit. I definitely got my money's worth with this purchase.

Surprisingly well made for the price.

This chuck was much higher quality than I was expecting, which is a nice surprise. Very good on runout, clean operating on the jaws. I was very impressed for the price. I now have 2 of them, and both are working quite well.

Chinese Crap

The chuck looked good but I ordered a r8 and they sent a # 3 taper. This seem to be a problem they have. After further inspection the jaws are loose until tightened and the run out is not testable because it will not fit in my mill. To be honest guys don't buy this crap you won't like it. I think a Albrecht is my next chuck, they work and are right on the money. YOUR WORK IS A REFLECTION OF YOU!!!!!

Bent after 6 months use.

When first purchased this chuck, it had runout in the .002 range and then after about 6 months of use, it got so loose that I cannot use it for any center drilling. Broke 2 drills and bent a couple more. Run out now is .012 and is now unusable. I cannot return it so it is now a paperweight. This is made for light duty applications only.

Keyless chuck for the mill with R-8 shank.

Quick delivery (with is sometimes the case these days); good packaging. Nice unit works great. It is not an Albrecht but for 1/4 the price, it will do the job.

Solid Tool for a Solid Price

So far so good! Was a bit tight going in to the chuck on our Bridgeport the first few times, but that's to be expected! We've had no issues with it thus far and although it isn't an Albrecht, it does the job quite nicely! Clamps down tight with minimal effort, and the teeth slide smoothly up and down with very little play.
