Straps don't fit my Advantage glideAWAY rack - useless

My rack is the Advantage glideAWAY made by Heininger and sold by Costco. The holes on the original straps are oblong, while these are round. I can't even force them over the oblong posts on my rack.....these were the recommended replacements. Not sure what else to do...very disappointing.

Holds bikes very well

These are great for my bike carrier. You don't want to "over-tighten" these straps as they will break where they connect. I believe the (1) one strap that I did break was because of being too tight. It reall is not necessary to over tighten them as they hold really well.

After nearly 10 years, one of our original straps gave out. We feared we'd have to cobble something together, but found these.

An upgrade fro the original straps

An upgrade for the original straps with a more sturdy elastic compound use to construct these straps even if your old ones are still function but I found on long trips that original had a tendency to over stertch and snap leaving the bike at risk of falling off if I hit a severe bump , that definitely won't happen with the upgrades
