Worth the price
I did not even get a chance to pump up my first tank before the needle fell off the the pressure gauge. So be prepared to replace the gauge. (The one I was going to use has to large of threads and I am not sure what size I need) The rest of the pump is extremely solid well built! I have a strong feeling that Hatsan outsourced cheap pressure gauges for this, but built everything else themselves since there is a tremendous gap in quality between them!! It is a manual pump so be prepared to get some exercise in !!

Solid as a tank but you gotta lotta work to pump from empty
Got this as the cheap version to get into PCP air-gunning. Ended up with a Hatsan Blitz semi auto in .25 cal. The gun comes with an empty 500cc air capacity that is shipped empty, so, instead of getting an expensive electric pump or a scuba tank, I decided to work off some of my COVID '19 pounds' I gained by working this thing. At just over a c-note, much cheaper than a gym membership for something closed. Anyway, I pumped & pumped on & off for 3 days to get this thing to around 3000 psi, but once I got her there, staying in the green on my gun's air pressure gauge took about 5 minutes of total pumping. I never got to the full 3250 psi that is allowed. You have zero chance of operating this if you weigh less than around 150 lbs. The last like 2 inches of compression at the higher psi levels are very difficult, Its like compressing a shock absorber by hand. It fights you & starts to get hard to balance & push down straight to compress the last bit. If you think it's easy, it's not. I'm 6'1" so bending this low and putting all my weight on the little handlebar is taxing on the back & surely the hands. WEAR WORK GLOVES! 2nd day of pumping, I got a blister on my hand & added gloves to the mix. Take your time & don't expect much. It works but all the effort and the fact I never filled to max capacity made me go get a 3L scuba/firefigher carbon fiber bottle off e-bay for just under $300. I still use the pump to get some exercise and to conserve the air bottle, but just know you are in for some work.

This is a Hatsan? -Bad!
First use - Gently pressurized new PCP cylinder only halfway through the gauge's yellow warning area, then quit because pump was warm. Resumed the next morning but pump O-rings were squirting air on each stroke and would not produce pressure. This pump completely failed as a dependable PCP component. Spare O-rings were supplied but I haven't even reached PCP pressure yet and do not intend to waste trips to operate my PCP gun trying to rebuild the frapping pump. Other - the supplied hose was too short to reach the PCP port by 12" and too short to even reach the supplied clip on the pump handle. Like me, you might think that buying HATSAN would be a better pump. -No. EDIT: Bought different brand pump which included parts breakdown and instructions for maintenance. Used information learned to check Hatsan and correct Hatsan tube seals - which worked. Hatsan pump is no longer dead. Note: I have $2K worth of Hatsan products. All their OEM documents are nearly useless. Changing this rating from 1 star to 3.

Comparing hatsan vs cheapo
If your comparing the cheap ones to this on, check out the pics. (Spoiler alert, you get what you pay for) First, what the pictures can't show you. The foot stands on the cheap one, wont hold the pump up well. The hatsan stands are a lot more sturdy. The cheap ones rubber handles won't stay on, hatsan handles seem to be glued on better. Cheap one has a shorter hose with no storage loop Now what you can see in the pictures The oring that keeps blowing on the cheap one doesn't have a seat for the oring, just a sharp edge that cuts into the oring when its trying to hold the pressure from coming back into the pump. (Check valve) As you can see in the pics, the hatsan has a tapered seat for the oring, which should hold up a lot better. Hopefully the hatsan will hold up better. I didn't go through the rest of the pump, but just what I've seen the hatsan is better quality. It cost a little more but trust me when your shooting groups and your pump fails every other fill,(same oring fails everytime) (got good at changing it tho) it's a real bummer.

Good workout good pump
Get a good workout while refilling your air tank. I would appreciate a longer throw for higher PSI and ability to go faster with the pump.

Built with quality
Very sturdy, craftmanship is great. Heavy duty pump that should last for years.

Do not purchase this pump
Piece of garbage!! Consistently blows gaskets. Pumps condensation into my Blitz and QE. I bought it in March and it’s toast now. If I could give a zero I would!!!
