Love!

I don’t cook at all but finally broke down and bought this. It has a smaller footprint than the newer model which mattered more to me. I use it to toast bagels, roast broccoli, and air fry tofu. It heats up quickly, and everything tastes great. It does take about double the time to cook as a standard air fryer, but I love having a large flat basket to use. It’s easy to fit a lot in 1 layer and honestly the difference between 8 min and 16 min doesn’t mean much to me. I’m just happy at how quickly it preheats and how simple it is to use.

Burn Danger!

The last 3 times I've used this it has burned my fingers, one badly. The problem is the bake pan and air fryer basket are about 2" smaller than the oven grate, meaning when you try to grab the air fry basket it slides away to the back of the toaster oven and I burned the backs of my fingers on the oven grate getting it out. So, to turn a piece of fish safely, take out the whole oven grate and hope the basket doesn't slide off. The controls are iffy. It seems the preheat and cooking timer processes are different between air fryer and bake, and the timer 'done' beeps are nearly inaudible. If you can get past these design flaws it does bake ok and makes decent toast. But I nearly put it in the landfill.

Nice and compact - very small footprint on the counter

Nice toaster oven for daily use for my wife and I with easy to use controls and display.

Convenient and great size

Only thing I can complain about is that crumbs get caught at the bottom of the door and don’t fall to tray. Great otherwise! I airfry, bake and broil without getting the house hot!

Poor instructions. No customer support.

Tried everything I could think of to contact Hamilton Beach. Even the chat feature directs you to an email, and each inquiry cost $1. What kind of customer service is that? They supposedly have a 3 year warranty, but I would hate to have to use it. I will be sending this back. Nuwave and Ninja have really good customer support with real people answering for FREE!

Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven

This is a very nice toaster oven. Easy to use and controls are better than most toaster ovens we have had in the past. Very pleased with this purchase

Small and does what it supposed to do well.

A crumb tray that actually keeps the crumbs out of the oven, digital read out, small in size. A little learning curve to operate it, but not bad. Only gets very hot on the top and bottom, so you can put near your coffee pot or anything you would worry about damaging from the heat. Overall, I like it a lot.
