Nice, but expensive
I recently purchased the Stimulator Rubber Tip Refills, and while the quality of the rubber tips is decent, I was disappointed with the overall value of the product. The tips themselves work fine and do their job in providing a good sensation, but I found that they wore down quite quickly and needed to be replaced often. Additionally, I felt that the price of these refills was quite high compared to other similar products on the market. While I appreciate the convenience of having replacement tips readily available, I don't feel that the cost justifies the frequency of replacement needed. Overall, I would recommend this product with some reservations, and suggest that buyers weigh the cost against the frequency of use before making a purchase.

well, u can't find these in the stores anymore, bc god forbid anything be sensical anymore. so don't really have a choice as far as $, and for something so small of course seems too much, but I'm old ha ha need to use pliers to put on the handle, and used a nail file to make the little ridge more pronounced on the handle so these would pop on and stay on. but I don't like those crappy plastic pieces of garbage u see in parking lots and parks all over the world, so just happy I can find them!

Very useful for home dental care
I used to buy these refills at local pharmacies, but they were discontinued a while back. You can still buy the rubber tip and handle, but the tips wear out, so you'd have to buy another whole unit. Very expensive and wasteful, but no doubt profitable for stores. When I found these were available on Amazon, I was pleased. These rubber tip replacements are "cheap insurance" for your dental health, and I highly recommend you include this product in your daily self-care. I believe rubber tipping may be more important than flossing. Like all tissues, gums like a little "exercise." Rubber tipping is an excellent opportunity to stimulate the gums and keep them stronger. My dentist documented that since I began rubber tipping after each meal, my gum lines improved, hugging my teeth better than they used to. This helps prevent painful gum problems and disease. The key to successful rubber tipping can be summed up in one word: "gentle." Gum tissue can be sensitive, especially if you haven't rubber tipped before. But I'm willing to bet your dental hygienist will be happy to help you get the most from rubber tipping, so let me not digress. The replacement process can be tricky. Removing the old tip usually isn't a problem. Wash the base where the old tip was before replacing with a new one. You may need to wiggle the new tip gently and slowly to get it onto the handle. Each tip lasts a few weeks or longer. Rinsing it off well after use can lengthen its useful life. Eventually the tip will wear down and get harder. Then it can hurt the gums. Time to replace!

I use these for sculpting miniature models from polymer clay, great price, relatively quick delivery even though they came from outside the UK. Will definitely buy again.
