Works great for bad breath

I am a smoker and I drink a lot of coffee. I keep 2-3 breath freshener in my desk at work, at all times, and use them throughout the day. This product was just what I needed. I noticed a difference immediately. I use it daily and it works. If you struggle with bad breath, this is what you need!!

The difference is amazing!

My teeth cleaning habits never included brushing my tongue, but one day I was looking at my tongue and it looked like there was a bit of a white film covering it. I tried brushing it with my toothbrush, but the improvement was minimal. I heard of tongue scrapers so I hopped on amazon to see what was available. What I found was a ton of options...tongue scrapers and brushes, specialty tongue cleaning liquids. I went with this product because it is both a brush and scraper. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It has made a huge difference in my oral health (well I'm not sure about health, but at least in appearance and feel). I was really excited to use this scraper once it arrived. I admit I was a little disappointed after my first use because my tongue didn't immediately become pink. However, after a few days of rigorous tongue scraping/brushing that is exactly what happened! My tongue is now a pretty pinky red. In addition, the taste inside my mouth is much better (and by better I mean, outside of eating, it doesn't really taste like anything). My mouth just has a generally better feel to it...it's difficult to describe. I wouldn't say I used to go around with a bad taste in my mouth (thank god) it just feels/tastes cleaner now. You'd be amazed at how dirty a tongue really can be...I don't want to be gross, but I want to describe it just a bit. So, I drink coffee every morning, then I shower and brush my teeth...after brushing is when I use the tongue scraper...despite just having brush my teeth and rinsed my mouth, the scraper removes coffee colored residue from my tongue (it generally takes a few passes over my tongue until the saliva being scraped from my tongue is clear). Just think, all those years I thought that my mouth was clean because I brushed my teeth, when in actuality, gross coffee (or whatever else I eat/drink) was still clinging to my tongue. Now I'm freaking out...did I have bad breath??!? No one ever said as much, but then would someone really say something...I mean, I would never tell anyone (other than a really close friend or family member) that their breath was bad. I think that grime probably builds up on our tongue over time, that is probably why it took me a couple days to get my tongue back to being pretty pink. But this also has its advantages...once your tongue is clean, it wont become all gross overnight if you forget to use your scraper. I went on a vacation and forgot that I don't have a scraper in my travel kit, I was disappointed, but noticed that my tongue stayed a nice pink throughout the week I was gone...the white film didn't return overnight as I worried it would (I was brushing my tongue with my toothbrush). In conclusion: this tongue scraper has become a permanent staple of my oral hygiene routine. Using this tongue scraper will give you much more confidence...it will have you mouth looking, feeling (and likely smelling) cleaner in no time.

This is the one!

I have tried so many tongue cleaners, but none of them actually do anything but glide over the tongue. This one works! It is awesome that the brush loosens everything up and the scraper does the work to get it off your tongue! I had one of these years ago but was lured to buy others that looked so fancy and cool so I hadn't used one of these for several years. Then I saw it again on amazon and thought, "Why did I stop using this one?" so I bought it again and realized how sucky the others are. This is the one!

Wow, even better than expected

Ok so real talk, wearing a mask during the covid19 pandemic has given me a shocking reaiization: my breathe stinks. I decided to try tongue scraping to help combat this issue. Holy shit. This brush works SO well. The bristles are extremely comfortable to use, not pokey and their even length and stiffness makes them perfect for brushing your tongue. I used to try brushing with a manual toothbrush or with my electric sonicare but neither were pleasant to use on the tongue and didn't seem to get the job done. This brush? With just a few seconds of tongue brushing you can see a visible difference on my tongue and my tongue feels and tastes SOOOOOO much better. I almost can't believe it. How did I go so long ignoring tongue hygiene? I have been using this for about a week now and I actually look forward to using it. It's such a satisfying refreshing feeling. I knocked off 1 star for two reasons, even though i think the product is amazing. Half a star off for the scraper side. This side is hard plastic that is molded into two rows of waves, meant for scraping after using the brush. I find this scraper very uncomfortable, actually painful. Even if I don't scrape hard, it feels like it isn't really doing its job and it is a bit sharp. I decided to order a simple stainless steel scraper to use in companion with the brush side of this product. That combination works well but I wish I only needed on product. If this product had a smooth scraper instead of the sharp/jagged wavy one it would be better. Half a star off for the color and handle shape. I am not a fan of the dark magenta mine came in, but color is whatever. Mainly the handle is a bit lackluster. Not particularly comfortable and it comes to a narrow point at the bottom that makes it a bit odd to grasp and is not very aesthetically pleasing. Bottom line though? For a few bucks you can drastically improve your oral hygiene. It's easy to use and satisfying. One of my best amazon purchases of the year.

Look deep into my eyes

It is absolutely amazing seeing al the gunk come off your tongue while you stare into your partner’s eyes for validation of the gross visual while it goes down the drain. This helped spice up my relationship. Firm believer in this product and everyone should have one.

Not a pack of 6. Why would you advertise that??!

This is absolutely unacceptable and the definition NEEDS to be updated. The brush is fine. Exactly what I expected. But I thought I was buying six since the description says "pack of 6". The number of people letting this slide ASTOUNDS me. This is hugely false advertising and NOT okay.

Best tongue cleaner

This is the best tongue cleaner I've used - and I've tried a few! Some cleaners just have a brush, some just have a scraper. This has both - the brush loosens up gunge and the scraper removes it. Surprising how well it cleans compared to other products!

El Precio Podría ser Mejor

Hola amigos y amigas de la higiene bucal, Estuve buscando un producto en todos los super mercados de mi ciudad y nada. Hasta que encontré este aquí y decidí darle una oportunidad. El producto llega en un empaque muy similar al de los cepillos tradicionales, cuenta con dos usos, el primer lado tiene unas cerdas finas para cepillar y el otro lado cuenta con el raspador en cuestión. Me llamó la atención que el raspador no es plano, sino que es ondulado. He visto otras opciones en donde el raspador es plano. Aun así creo que funciona bastante bien, es lavable y en cuanto a su calidad, es tal cual el plástico de un cepillo normal también. Creo que el costo podría ser bastante mejor, ya que este es desechable y deberá ser reemplazado. Por lo que si gustan probar si este es un producto para ustedes en una gran opción. Aunque en un futuro quizá sea mejor idea comprar uno de acero que no se desechable. Esto claro, dependerá de ustedes.

Great value for price

I honestly wasn’t expecting to be as blown away by this little gadget as I was. I have purchased plastic tongue scrappers before, they were flimsy and poorly crafted in comparison. This one is made of a sturdy hard plastic, with two rows of wavy plastic on one side and a brush on the other. The bristles are dense and hard enough that they can give you a really nice clean feel. Its small enough to go a decent amount to the back of the tongue. Not quite small enough for the upper palate but this is a great buy and I will be purchasing more in the very near future.
