Great gloves for tree trimming & cutting
My wife and I both like these gloves for tree cutting. I purchased them specifically to use with chainsaws and we have been using them daily for 4 weeks now. They resist the sharp branches and pine needles better than other gloves I’ve used. I also can handle the chainsaw chain while sharpening them and they have held up well. They also hold up well to the chain bar oil and grease. They are a bit hot to wear because of the cut protection but they haven’t become uncomfortable even with all day wear. Thankfully they are washable and we have washed our pairs twice now in the washing machine then just hung them to dry. They don’t shrink or stiffen like some gloves do when being washed. For our use the dexterity has been fine. Most of the tools we use are fairly large handled although the chain sharpening tools are smaller. The one disadvantage I have noticed is in handling steel wire rope (winch cable): the material in the palms slides on the wire so it’s harder to pull the winch line with much force but I wrap the cable behind my body and then can unspool it from the winch. Overall we are really satisfied with these gloves and we’ll buy them again when needed.

Awesome gloves for a variety of jobs
I bought these gloves because I needed to do some work on land I just bought. I'm currently clearing trees and bushes (nasty, thorny bushes) and stringing a mile of barbed wire fence (times 4 strands). For this reason, I chose the Kevlar reinforcement these gloves offer. They've performed brilliantly. Plus, the sizing was right on (I'm 6'2" and ordered the large), and they are comfortable. The only way these could be any better is if they offered an 'elbow-length' pair. That would be awesome. I was hesitant to purchase due to other reviewer comments that indicated the gloves might not last very long in harsh conditions. So far so good with my first pair, and I've already bought a second pair for when the day finally does come that the first give out. I don't expect gloves to last a lifetime, especially doing the type of work I am now, but these have held up nicely. I can even operate the chainsaw with them on, clearing the debris afterwards. I've yet to be poked by either the thorny bushes or the 4-point barbed wire. A contractor I hired to help with the task was skeptical that these would perform as well as his all-leather gloves, but he's now a believer (and perhaps even a bit envious!). After three weeks of daily use, the only wear I can see is near the right index-and-middle fingertips area where some of the material is beginning to separate from the glove. I think the stitching may have finally worn out at this point, or perhaps I snagged it on a metal barb while rolling out the barbed wire - not sure. Regardless, these gloves are well designed with several layers of protection until you reach bare skin, so they still have a lot of use ahead of them. They even protected me against what would have been a bad burn, when I accidentally touched a very hot part of the saw with my thumb. Though the heat immediately burned/melted a small hole in the thumb area of the glove, it didn't reach my skin and I was very thankful. I highly recommend these gloves for outdoor work. If you are not stringing barbed wire and cutting down trees, imagine how long they'll last you! UPDATE: Editing my review to add a star. I've not had a reason to look for another brand of glove in over 6 years. These are fantastic. Stop reading and just click the Buy button!

The best pair of work gloves I’ve used!
I’ve been wearing these gloves for about a month at work. I use them for a lot of photography grip work and basic carpentry work. I’m very hard on gloves and these are holding up much better after the first month than most others I have tried. There is some very minor fraying in a couple spots but I’m not concerned about that yet. If it becomes an issue I’ll update this review, but considering the wear and tear I put on gloves, this is not shocking to see. I work with very hot photography lighting on a daily basis and although I didn’t purchase these for the purpose of protecting my hands from the heat, they have proven to be quite effective at it. So that’s a bonus. The grip on the palms is also some of the best I’ve experienced. I lift and move heavy, smooth, metal lighting equipment all the time. Most gloves allow this type of equipment to slid through your grip, but these gloves are still holding on tight even after accumulating dust and dirt on them. I am all around very happy with these! Update: 3/2/21 I still love these gloves. My initial review was that they were very sturdy and were holding up the the type of work that I do. But the middle fingers are starting to wear out on the edges. I've added new photos to show the weak points in the fingertips. Despite how quickly I've worn through these gloves, they're still the best gloves I have used for this job and I will be purchasing another pair. It would be great to see some improvements made to these weak points.

Great gloves, but...
I really like these gloves, and actually bought 2 more pairs as gifts for my brother-in-laws. Reason for the 4 star rating is that one of the fingers threading is coming apart. Not due to abuse, but a flaw...I believe. Still, I do like the comfort and protection they provide.

Able to work for hours without continually needing to take off
Enough feeling that you can work the saw and do all associated chores without removing the gloves.

I don’t know what to make of these gloves...
The gloves work well BUT the stitching where the glove is held together went on it and started opening up after a couple days of use. I don’t know if it was faulty and I don’t think it was over used in only a couple days.

Only received one pair of gloves, instead of 2.
I only received one pair of gloves when I was supposed to receive two pairs when ordering a size large. This was the reason I chose these gloves over others so very disappointing.
